I'm so glad you made that note about Dries Van Note because that's exactly what I felt too. The pure energy of Dries early works especially that collection with a nod to India ( though here it was a mixture of cultures) I thought the print work was beautiful but nowhere near the intricacy of DVN's work. The one that stood out to me was definitely the green with the crimson dragon; stunning. But, overall I'm happy to see optimism, free-flowing silhouettes and modernism that is wearable and approachable by a multitude of men. PPP is a breath of fresh air to fashion.

Very modern n classy at the same time
The shapes are quite simple and classic - voluminous long coats, roomy shirts, straight leg cropped pants, nothing extraordinary, but the use of unusual colors, whimsical prints which are Pierpaolo's forte, ( see his wonderful women's wear ) I just wish he would try and give us more innovative shapes combined with his great colors and prints for a truly good collection ( again like his women's wear ) Please sir, take a little risk.

I'm big fan of Valentine even tho I dont like this collaboration but there is still some pieces I love n some with embroidered pattern is always a culture touch on ready to ware collection . Hope men's ware can add more bag choice .over all I still love this collection . Exciting for culture show next month 👏👏👏👏👏
Just came from watching the DG and Versace men's fashion shows - this collection restored my believe in Italian fashion brands.

I actually agree with your statement. Plus this collection one of the few good ones (the others imo are Fendi, and Rick Owens). I loved pretty much everything, especially the coats.

The only problem here is the layering. It makes the clothes look too stuffy for ss. I wish they had spaced the clothes.

This sort of fashion tips one right over the edge, that there is to much clothes being made, to much waste.
The models looked like they were plucked of the street, the whole thing looked horrendously wrong.
Can’t emagine anyone wearing it.
The accessory stuff was definitely highlighted and that’s what they should consentrate on not on those clothes like a first year fashion student

It's called "great clothes, batty presentation". A sort of toned down Gucci in a way.
I do ware like this .but I'm not the fan of this collaboration with the painter artist pattern .
