She’s not going to do any better with or without a lawyer.
She's just like that guy that mowed down all those people in a Christmas Parade. She did it, she knows she did it, but thinks she can bs her way into being found innocent. She hasn't figured out that people aren't stupid like she thinks they are.
Well said!!
Also reminds me of the psycho woman who zipped her boyfriend up in a piece of luggage and recorded it all, but still says because it wasn't intentional that he died that she should just be let go. She has been going through defense attorneys since it started.
Innocent until proven guilty
What if EVERYONE refuses to work with this evil woman?
I imagine she’ll be assigned a public defender who will have no choice, unless of course she requests to defend herself.
DP
The purpose of every accused to be given legal representation is to insure a fair trial. As you know, many DAs and others in our justice system are notoriously corrupt and power driven.
They’ll get someone, plenty of unscrupulous lawyers out there
@@Breeandfree It's not unscrupulous to defend someone who is guilty. It's their constitutional right to be vigorously defended in court. It's called Due Process and it's in the Constitution. It's the jury's job to decide the facts and make the decision on guilt or innocence not her attorney. She will be assigned a public defender.
I’m so nosy, but I would love to know the details of what happened for this to happen ha ha ha!
Either she told them she did it or it's a stall tactic to try and prolong the case as long as possible
I believe it's more likely that her next installment of Attorney fees were due which she cannot pay, apparently she's been in arrears for a while. Doesn't look like anyone is coming to her aid either, she has asked family members to but up the money, but looks like that has failed too.
I'm pretty sure they know she did it.
I think she probably can’t pay for it anymore. The other day was supposed to be her initial hearing, which is crazy it’s taken over a year for that, I don’t think we should be confining people for that long before proving there is enough evidence to try them. But the prosecution was STILL unprepared and given 5 more weeks so she probably was just like not able to keep paying them and will have to get a public defender
@@gingerfeliciano9531 clients can tell attorneys that they committed a crime. It doesn’t preclude representation
Her mother has done the same exact thing & got away with it, TWICE.
There's an irreconcilable difference between what the attorneys want to be paid and how much money Kouri has in the bank.
She is guilty the truth will come out it's something she will never escape from even if found not guilty and if she isn't guilty then why play games with the courts just get in there and prove your innocent she is afraid of being held responsible for the murder she is a narcissist 😊
“Prove your innocence”?
@@mb9662 When the prosecution is trying to prove your guilt, you hire a defense attorney to do that exact job. What part has confused you?
@@mike-xn1qj to disprove the prosecutions case.
@@mb9662 You put the question mark to denote your confusion or disbelief of the concept. I explained it and you posted the explanation as if I was unaware of it.
@@mike-xn1qj you are unaware. All people charged with a crime Are Presumed Innocent in a Court of Law. Only if the prosecution proves Beyond a Reasonable Doubt is the jury instructed to find them Guilty.
No where in that process is one required to “pRovE tHieR iNnoCeNce.”
Bravo!!!!👏
I was expecting this - suitcase's Sarah sister!
Sarah Boone all over again!
Maybe Jose Baez can jump in.
He would.
Not without a million dollar retainer. The woman he represents now has millionaire mother and family business.
I would be terrified for the state if that were the case!! The man has gotten acquittals for people who may have well just filmed themselves in action of the crime considering how much evidence were against them!!! However thankfully, (if ur on the side of justice) I doubt she has the funds or backer to pay an attorney of his ilk!
They quit because, she couldn’t pay anymore. They have to say in reconcilable differences to keep the integrity of the client going because, if she does come up with money, she can retain new council however, if you see her walking in court with a court appointed attorney, you will know that that motion to withdraw was not because, that they didn’t want to represent her. It was merely because she simply ran out of money. This is a high profile capital murder case litigation ain’t cheap. Skye Lazaro is probably like 500 an hour and going through all that discovery and watching all those videos she’s easily probably about $30,000 in legal fees.
This withdrawal can win her a huge delay, maybe even a mis trial.
She is trying to be more clever than her lawyers and they've had enough. Now what?
After she sent the letter back then her defense team probably told her that with another stunt like that they would walk out. Then last week she send a recorded message and that was the last drop. She is ruining her case and they can't do their job with her.
I believe that judge Mraznik granted the withdrawal on Friday as well. Where is the update if so?
Wow! 😮
Wonder if she was offered a plea deal at any point. She should just plead guilty
The mountain of evidence against her is staggering. Plus her lawyers just seemed inept. It was a lose-lose for them.
So she couldn’t pay them? I am confused.
She has had the same look on her face for a year now
That’s what happens when you’ve got it so good you don’t even know it
I thought she was being represented by Skye Lazaro?
Yeah she is but it’s okay to have co-counsels representing or working for defense. I guess a famous example is OJ. Had Cochran, Kardashian and like 3 others
Thanks brother amen❤
She had a ghost writer write the book you mean
I doubt it. Did you see any of it? It's horribly written. If you would call it writing.
@@irongirl8007 no I haven't seen it, I saw the news that said she didn't write it though
I feel so badly for her husband Eric. I wish he'd gotten away from her before her final act. He had so much life to live and he adored his 3 boys. It's just so unfair.
Good let her rot in jail.Parents don’t even want to write the check
I thought she was innocent until the texts with the boyfriend and the walk the dog letter claiming it was a new fictional book she’s working on 🙄riiiiight
Innocent? Then who gave Eric the fentanyl laced Moscow Mule?
Just ask DJT, it's never a good sign when your lawyers keep leaving.......
They even know she’s guilty that why they don’t want to defend her
I hear her next book is titled "Mommy Murdered Daddy"...
ooops.
Scorpio
Defense comes to the realization; publicity is good but we don't need THIS KIND of publicity - we're outta here (please, please free us from this).
ANOTHER PLOY TO GET A MISTRIAL! Lawyers represent people they don't like all day every day!
Kouri Richens is pretty, unassuming & seemingly normal woman which makes her scary as Hell once you learn the charges. She murdered her husband depriving their kids of a father & then wrote a children’s book about grief from a death in the family & then carried on as if things were normal. That is beyond diabolical. It’s pure evil. The effort & thinking she put in shows how cold & vindictive this woman is. There is nothing scarier than that because it’s the last place that one would think they’d find such evilness. Unreal.
I feel so bad for their children who lost their father whom they will learn or have learned was murdered by their own mother. If they are able to have a normal life without paralyzing trauma haunting them, then it’ll be a miracle. RIP Eric. Hopefully justice is served & your psychotic ex-wife will never see the world outside of prison for the rest of her life.
Ha ha!
Wow lizard lady stepping down? Maybe she does have a heart
Skye Lazaro??? She reminds me of Morticia Addams 😁
@@lionheartmerrill1069 yes… now she is only defending that dentist that poisoned his wife 🙄
Beating a murder accusation is very very low percentage. A guy who was convicted of murder who maintains his innocence said if he knew how low the odds of winning were he would have taken the deal.
