This is a very well balanced ensemble with fantastic intonation & an excellent job following the written dynamics! Very nice performance!
Thank you.

My high school is playing this song and I LOVE it!
Beautiful, reminds me of my concert band 10 years ago 😢❤️
This is fantastic.
I think I heard a clarinet squeaking. But I still like this :)
Arrangement by John Edmondson.
Good rendition! Nice contrasts, drastically slow tempo in the middle, but over all very nice wrk by lead alto sax, trumpet, flutes. But WHY is the drummer highlighted? Ar the cost of seeing the conductor, the other soloists, the sax section, the lower brass.... This sort of video really gets me upset because - even as a percussionist myself - to key in on one person (be they clarinetist, drummer, trumpet, it makes NO difference) is to really ruin the video. Half way through I'm starting to enjoy the music less and almost yelling at the video to stop keying on the drummer and show other people in the band. The conductor got almost zero screen time, and that's NOT fair. So, Good performance, but poor video work.
Interesting input. I have a couple of comments. First, it it may be true
that we don’t get enough shots of Jim. I’ve been working on doing that a
little bit more. My main comment is that this is one of the videos that
was directed by [a representative] from CCTV (as you can see in the credits).
That’s one of the reasons they put me in the director’s chair, probably
not long after this, so I could “take the wheel” and focus on getting
the right shots. The way we had set up of having me trying to
communicate the shots to [the CCTV rep] was really not working, and this video
probably shows that deficiency. Hopefully the videos have been better
going forward. Should we try playing Cats again and see what this
commentor thinks about an updated video? (:-)
The song is very good but sorry. The orchestra do not playing it good.
