    Even though I don’t think this but why is Kareem not in the GOAT discussion? I mean 6 rings 6 MVPs 10 finals appearances all time leading scorer, most unstoppable move in NBA history etc. what do you guys think?

    LeBron is "better" but Jordan is "greater". MJ's accomplishments/achievements, records, finals records, stats, overall impact on the game all outweigh LeBron's but purely from a basketball skillset LeBron is the best ever, IMO. He's a big who can run, pass and shoot like a guard. And I say that as a Celtics fan who hopes he loses every game he plays lol!

      Carmelo Anthony
      The stats and overall impact also favor LeBron a lot.
      But MJ is a huge winner who always got it done in the big moments.

    Kenny bro, at 300K you gotta do a Jordan vs. lebron debate. Do some research on Jordan, do whatever you gotta do, make points for each argument, then give us an explanation on who you pick. That would be a great video, especially on the timing, considering you'll be at 300K soon after the finals this year!

      Nizar Bait saleem I always say this in James v Jordan discussions:
      Michael had a bigger impact on basketball so he is a greater player for me, but the best is LeBron. Personally i think that LBJ wouldn't be the greatest if he developed in the 90s like Jordan but he developed in this new era and that made him better. Basketball evolves and keeps evolving so there will always be better and better players in the future.

  • @codyayers4200
    @codyayers4200 6 лет назад +66

    I agreed with everything u said except Klay being better than demar. Klay is a system player he is in the right system right now and he’s basically just there to shoot and defend. Demar can actually lead a team and if u put him on another team he’ll still put out the same stats as he has now. Klay wouldn’t do the same in my opinion.

    • @leone5712

      Cody Ayers THANK YOU I FUCKING LIKE YOU (NO HOMO) DEROZAN IS WAY BETTER THEN THOMPSON IF YOU OUT THOMPSON ON ANOTHER TEAM PEOPLE WONT TALK BOUT HIM HE ONLY IN NBA FANS DISCUSSIONS BECAUSE OF THE TEAM AND WHO HE PLAYS WITH

    • @Antmannnn506
      @Antmannnn506 6 лет назад +3

      Cody Ayers your opinion is based on what you think would happen if you put then on different teams, so it isn't factual based because you can't proven that Klay wouldn't be as good as he is now on another team, nor can you prove that demar would be as good as he is now.

    • @leone5712
      @leone5712 6 лет назад +3

      Demars a better player and has better playmaking, since bargnani left demar has lead his team to like 5 playoff apperences in a row and does what he does by himself with lowry and his bench

    • @codyayers4200
      @codyayers4200 6 лет назад +2

      Ant 2k well demar is better than Klay in every aspect besides three pointer

    • @Antmannnn506
      @Antmannnn506 6 лет назад +3

      Karl Reacts well Lowry is an all star and the raptors had the statistical best bench in the league last year so he has tons of help, not as much as Klay but still a lot. Yet he never does anything in the playoffs. He always comes up small. And Klay is better on every single aspect on defense so what you said isnt true. Klay is a better 3 point shooter for sure but also is a lockdown defender. He is also much more clutch than demar.

      Lukas K I’m not saying he is a biased Jordan fan, I’m saying that video used some pretty biased points. He started off by using nick wright, who we all know doesn’t see both sides of the coin. He worships lebron, so he isn’t a valid person to use. Dom brings up lebrons choke in ‘11, and how a goat wouldn’t get outplayed by Jason terry. He fails to mention Jordan’s choke in 95 when he got outplayed by nick Anderson. So yea some points were good, but it was mostly biased

    • @lukask4122
      @lukask4122 6 лет назад +1

      Chris Wee yes im a bulls fan. I like Jordan more personally. LeBron is my #2 greatest and I love watching him but based on the facts the pure stats in most aspects Jordan was better. LeBron does have more skill- better passer, rebounder, shooter but overall Jordan better

  • @DCarloss
    @DCarloss 6 лет назад +4

    jordan and lebron shouldn’t be debated. here’s why.
    jordan dominated the best era of basketball.
    lebron dominated the second/third best era of basketball.
    in jordan’s era, barley 3 point shooting, handchecking, hard fouls, big men, goons, way more better teams in the league.
    in lebrons era, no big man, make 3 pointers or bust, no handchecking, if you breathe on a guy, its a tech. its wayyyyy softier.
    when jordan drove to the rim, 3 guys trying to block him atleast. hard fouls.
    when lebron drives, he just has to beat the guy on the P because no dominate bigs are playing anymore.
    lebron is like a magic.
    they are uncomparable.
    jordan won 6-6 in the best era.
    lebron was 3-5 in this era.
    lebrons 40-50 pounds heavier and 3 inches taller.
    jordan was asked to score. but the time he did run point, he avg 8 assist.
    lebron is asked to do alot more. and he can. but jordan wasn’t just the best offensive player, he was top 3 in defense. jordan made scottie a top 50 player ever. lebron made kyrie and bosh that too. its just not fair

    MJ has more rings,less finals loses, more scoring titles, more all-defensive 1st teams, more DPOY, more season steal titles, never played with a 20+ ppg scorer, played harder competition in the east, more slam dunk titles, never joined a super team or created one. So u tell me...who’s the GOAT? It’s simple

    • @dannyrittie4346

    Jordan's better. He has more awards, had better stats, had better single games, played in a tougher era with a worse team than Lebron when he was in Miami. [Jordan's championship bulls teams were still good but those Miami teams were amazing] and name one time where MJ had to step up to the plate and choked, the closest you'll get would probably be those years where he hit the road block known as the bad boy pistons, but even then they had to constantly double and triple team him to slow him down. Jordan's better, but he ain't the GOAT since we all know KOT4Q is.

      Your point about Jordans teams isn't quite right. Do you know what ELO is? Basically it's a statistical ranking system that originally came from chess that's used in games and sports now to compare players and teams' skills. Jordan's teams, statistically, were the warriors of their generation. If you think about it, Jordan's bulls adding Rodman was a lot like the dubs adding KD (to a smaller extent). Their ELO was so much better than everyone else's, he had to win. LeBron's never been on a team that good, although Miami was close. I'm not saying either is better, I really don't know at this point, but the idea that Jordan had tougher comp isn't really true given the team and coach he had, especially compared to the Cavs rn.

    • @kazookiddevotee3901
      @kazookiddevotee3901 6 лет назад

      +A&Omega Fair point, but the warriors of their generation is a bit of a stretch. Great team, yes, warriors of their generation, no way. Also that may be a testament to their competition, but it also might be a testament to how good the bulls really were with Jordan.

    • @lukask4122
      @lukask4122 6 лет назад +2

      Biased T-Wolves Fan he'd still be one of the most dominant players in 90s yes. But I'm talking about how his body has been maintained playing 40+ minutes every game at age 33. You couldn't do that in 90s. And in 90s there were more legends, as today is more all around stars. LeBron would have much better teams to play against back then at least until finals and cuz warriors are one if best teams of all time

    • @lukask4122
      @lukask4122 6 лет назад +2

      Biased T-Wolves Fan also today LeBron gets surrounded by shooter allowing him to drive and do whatever he wants because of 3 ball emphasis. In 90s he'd have a lot less space and they game was rougher. No doubt LeBron is #2 by far but Jordan is still #1

    I think Rudy Gobert is a better basketball player than Draymond Green. He is the best rim protector in the league and not as lost as eg Deandre Jordan on the perimeter. While Green has the edge on defensive flexibility, I still think Rudy Gobert is the better defender. On the offensive side Green is again more versatile and can create offense better than Gobert (although not really for himself), but Gobert is overall the more efficient offensive player (when used at his strengths (picknroll etc))

Rudy Gobert is one of those players whose impact flies under the radar. His Jazz team is rarely put on tv so people dont see that he's more than just a rim protector

    LeBron is better in my mind because he is still getting better. Also, LeBron is just a better off-court player and has never realy been in drama or got on trouble. On top of that he has been to the finals more with bad teams, though some can argue he has been in a bad conference, which is true, but his teams have usually just been him, and it is impresive for 1 person to carry his teams to the finals. He has done it when he was younger, and now, when he is older.

    • @ztlabraptor211
      @ztlabraptor211 6 лет назад

      Greysen G wdym usually? He's been on his own once in 07. He had love this year who did come up big in several games and has had a big 3 every other finals he's been in.
      Also I agree lebron is a better role model and shit off the court but that doesn't factor in to who's better

    • @johncena-rq3tp
      @johncena-rq3tp 6 лет назад

      Josh well when the warriors had one their 1st champ, kyrie and love were injured in the finals. The real good teams he had were the 3-1 cavs and maimi, which is 5 out of 9 times he had good teams. He has been to the finals with average-below average players 4 times when michael has only been to the finals 6 times in total. Yes he has lost 5 and this may be his 6 time losing, but he still has carried teams with only decent players at the most. The 2nd best player is kevin love, who has not been that good, though he is playing better these playoffs.

    • @johncena-rq3tp
      @johncena-rq3tp 6 лет назад

      Josh also a better role model can factor in. For example the gilbert areans situation ruined his whole carrer

    • @ztlabraptor211
      @ztlabraptor211 6 лет назад

      Greysen G that wasn't being a bad role model that was posing a danger to the team. And if nobody took action against that gun situation it wouldn't have effected him. It's not that situation that ruined his career it's how I was handled

    • @ztlabraptor211
      @ztlabraptor211 6 лет назад

      Greysen G the cavs last year were a great team too. So that leaves him with 3 teams that weren't so good that he dragged to the finals. 07 was impressive undoubtedly but the competition was pretty lackluster. In the year GS one their first ring he had a good team until the conference finals. I'll admit again that series against the Hawks was very impressive. Then this year to be fair Kevin love has had some excellent games and again the competition hasn't been great. Indiana, a projected lottery team who's main star Oladipo played poorly, Toronto who repeatedly chokes against Bron and Boston without their two stars

  • @evg1383

Kobe actually won(.)
