@@zahrasartcorner4247 so I use PayPal and I think it has an option to let them choose the currency??? I’m not sure but basically I just have all my prices in AUD and they send me whatever that is in their currency 😂 I really don’t know the specifics but it’s worked out fine so far!
I was my friends first commission! She was actually my coworker- but she undercharged soooo so much! It was a full sketch from bust up and she shipped it to me for 30 USD which is insane for the amount of work she did. I ended up sending her 50 USD instead and made sure she upped her prices. Don't undervalue your work, there will be people out there willing to pay for your work
I'm about to start taking commissions so your video was extremely helpful! Thank you! I was like a student, with a pen and a paper writing down all your tips lol
Hi! If you do digital communications, do have to actually print out the work and send it to them? Or can you send it online through like email? (Only asking because I don’t have a printer lol)
I don’t physically post my pieces, I do everything digitally so I just email through the final versions of things. It’s up to you if you want to post something worldwide or within your country but since the client should be the one paying for postage I don’t see why you can’t post everywhere 😇
@@georgiaanimatedAh ok, thanks! Can you do a video on selling prints or originals? I do watercolour paintings by hand and it would be really useful to know the process
It is scary at first, I was the same! I didn’t think I was worth more than $10! But after a while of doing things for that price I realised that the amount of work I was doing was way more than $10 worth! So if you are worried, offer a few for £5! Just to get some experience and see how the process works, and then when you feel ready you can charge more 🤠 don’t feel embarrassed, I know artists who charge thousands of dollars for commissions (they’re like giant oil paintings but still) Also read / listen to you are a badass at making money by Jen Sincero, it’s a total confidence boost for making money 😅💸
Hi! What is the recommended age for doing art commissions? I’m a minor and have been asking my mum to let me do commissions, although I’m not sure if it’s legal, as long as my parents would supervise a PayPal account or something
If you’re doing them for friends and family I’m sure you’ll be fine! But if it’s people on the internet that definitely get your parents to help set up and monitor everything! ☺️ there’s no real recommended age, I think it’s just a lot easier to do once you’re over 18 :)
@@georgiaanimated thanks so much! I’ve asked my mum, but she’s not sure about me talking to strangers online, but I believe I asked her if she could monitor the chat :)
Those of you who use PayPal for commissions, which one do u use? Personal or business account? I made one of each because the business account doesn’t show ur private info, but the personal one does and I’d rather not give strangers my real name.
Yknow this still didnt let me decide what price my art gonna be but its make my confidence of making comission GO HIGHERRR?? How she suggest us atleast take commision from our relative, family n friends first is just genius! Atleast we can get our confidence!?
Let me know if you have any other questions! 💖✨
Hi I wanted to ask like if u sell to all countries then how do u take the money in what currency sorry if u don't understand 😅
