I'm gonna be honest. I was pissed because Hanson covered this banger. Now I'm pissed because there is absolutely no reason that this cover was this good. Absolute Banger
hell yeah hanson! they can do anything and make it sound perfect! and all you hating on hanson, grow the fuck up, mmmbop was 14 years ago. hanson has grown up and made a name for themselves in indie music. just remember people, "hanson doesn't have a problem, you do."
If they ever do infant sorrow again they must do "inside you" hahaha id just fall apart because hearing taylor say "furry walls sit on my face" i pretty much internally combust
At first I didn't know if I liked it, but I think it's pretty good! Just different from Hanson's usual music, but that's okay. I will always love them (:
wow i can't believe all the hate comments on here. i thought people were past that "hanson are girls" thing. come on, it's been 13 years since Mmmbop. Hanson grew up, these haters should too.
Lol, this version of the song just made my day. I don't know which one I like better though. I like the style of this one better, but Russell Brand's voice sounds better to me.
@Jmanheroboy16 because at the end in the credits, it says the song was written by infant sorrow and you can look for it on youtube and he sings the songs and it shows him on the tour with infant sorrow, i still could be wrong man if you really wanna know google the shit out of it, it should be easy to find out who really sang the songs and see if you can find a website that actually sold the tickets for the actual real concert which i dont think ever happened. it was for forgetting sara marshall
Amazing, as always. Well done boys. And to all the haters on here, go hate on something that actually sucks. These boys have way more talent then you'll ever have. I dare you to say this stuff at their concerts, because I guarantee about 700 girls will kick your ass..and then you'll feel like a douche bag.Grow up.
@lalathestylist Zac (the drummer) actually has the highest voice of the three. And if you compare Taylor's voice now to what it sounded like for MmmBop, it's definitely lower.
@zephyrwulf666 it sounds like "their balls havent dropped" because after taylors voice changed after mmmbop he had voice lessons to keep his higher toned voice because middle of nowhere was all high and the big record company wanted him to be able to sing the songs properly, now the other two have much deeper voices compared to taylors.
Notorious Sloth hilarious...NOTT!! So why the lol? I couldnt even spurt a momentary "LiS" n i enjoy laughing in silence. Its not funny when only can see the humor thats missing
Infant Sorrow are a real band actually, this movie was supposed to mark their return, after hiatus, Russell Brand just plays the lead singer, its not his band in real life
@akiko91 Like I said, i could be wrong, and I think the tour was a fake tour for the movie.I am not a genius, this is only my thoughts on this, i guess i could research it, but i'd rather just think it's jason segel since he wrote the songs and in the credits of the movie it says perfromed by jason segel and infant sorrow
@connorh485 I know what you mean about the remakes though. My grandpa loved this Chinese movie called Infernal Affairs, and then The Departed totally ripped it off. Of course everyone loved The Departed, and the original wasn't even mentioned as an influence, inspiration, remake, nothing. It was a blatant rip off and they didn't even bother to acknowledge the existence of Infernal Affairs. Litterally the exact same stories, except Infernal Affairs came out something like 5 years earlier.
This is how you know a band has lost complete relevence in the public eye. I love this song, and this isn't even bad. but the fact they would resort to a studio cover of this is ludacris. Mmmmmm Bop!
no, infant sorrow was not a real band. it was a promo stunt for get him to the greek and forgetting sarah marshall. every bit of advertisement you ever saw about infant sorrow linked you straight to one of the two movie sites....and dispite the fact that they advertised an upcoming tour, said tour was fake, and the only shows they ever did were the ones they faked to record the movie.
@AMWJesseJames Yeah I looked it up, and it is acutally Russell Brand, but I will have to look up the Jason Segal version you mentioned, unless I read that incorrectly or something.
@BedlaminBelgium90 Wow I think you're the one that "completely missed the point." They were covering it merely as a joke because they thought it was a funny movie. Some people are always looking for a way to put down Hanson when they don't have proper justification. Seriously get bent!
I like it; it's more like Tinted Windows material tho... And has anyone listened to the song "Kiss me when you come home?" right at 3:17 Taylor sings "Sit on my lips now..." lol I know he's saying "[I] said, 'on my lips now,'" but still :)
@imaferretmaster If THIS gave you respect for them, check out their last 2 albums. Good shit, IMO. This... is just a cover of a crappy comedy song. Still cool they did it.
@chrisman11335 People who like to jam and have a good time as a musician. Would you rather they spend their days trolling RUclips? How's that workin for ya?
@S3rjiu Harsh. they may not be as famous, but they're definitely as good: infact they're much much much better....people only lost interest because they wrongly stereotyped hanson's music.
@dallasdoby3 Actually, on their past two albums, they've matured quite a bit and it's not only listenable--it's good. I used to hate them but they gained my respect. I'm not sure what telling you the truth has to do with sexual orientation, but you can believe what you want. Lighten up a little, kid.
@SuckIt0029 ye, not to be hostile, but it just gets annoying after a while that the american corporations cant come up with their own ideas, almost everyday theres some new american remake of some other film. some things just cant be remade.
@connorh485 Technically, the Native American language is the American language. But seriously though, what's with all the hostility, dude? Bash the Americans that bash you. Not all of us are like that, dude.
You can tell they think they've improved it, when not only have they NOT improved it, it is SUPPOSED to be shit, they've just completely missed the point.
@SuckIt0029 ye, not to be hostile, and dont get me wrong, america do give the world some good entertainment, but its almost everyday you hear of some american remake, which never lives up to the original and it just gets annoying.
Taylor's singing with all the conviction and seriousness he normally sings with his own songs. Awesome.
HAHAHA hanson said "sit on my face", my childhood is now in my past and i can close the book of youth with comfort. Its all up from here!
Nice cover.
russell brand and hanson... in any combination... PLUS Jason Segel... .seriously, a dream come true.
love it. just glad they had the good sense to recognize this was a cool song . the comedy environment can mask that its actually pretty cool
fuck yeah hanson! they can do anything and make it sound amazing!
captainhighdee Amen
Is it me...or does this tune kick ass!?
Nice version
omg I'm in love
I, love this song cover and original.
Haha this is great never knew they did a cover of this song. Love Hanson. And this was such a funny movie
Well as a Jeffrey, and an Architect, I'm not sure how to react to Furry Walls. I usually go for light dash or sand finish plaster.
I'm gonna be honest. I was pissed because Hanson covered this banger. Now I'm pissed because there is absolutely no reason that this cover was this good. Absolute Banger

captainhighdee well said
27 now lol
Great cover!
greatest idea ever. so much win.
This is soooo funny! Love it!
If they ever do infant sorrow again they must do "inside you" hahaha id just fall apart because hearing taylor say "furry walls sit on my face" i pretty much internally combust
2020 is the year of the FURRY WALLS!
good cover
At first I didn't know if I liked it, but I think it's pretty good! Just different from Hanson's usual music, but that's okay. I will always love them (:
wow i can't believe all the hate comments on here. i thought people were past that "hanson are girls" thing. come on, it's been 13 years since Mmmbop. Hanson grew up, these haters should too.
cool! so when is Hanson going to cover "african child" and "inside you"? it’s cool, they’re just covers.. they’d DEFINITELY get more noticed.. haha
I hope Russell loves this like we do!!
rockin!
Hanson is soo awesome!! It is def better than Brand's version!! Love u Hanson!!
Both versions are cool
Lol, this version of the song just made my day. I don't know which one I like better though. I like the style of this one better, but Russell Brand's voice sounds better to me.

cutest part in the movie
I had this version in my ipod and i thought it was the original song but know I know.
@twitrufan7 Right On!!!! Hanson Rocks!!!
I need a download link to this!
I can't tell which version is better, the original or this one. Cause I love the fast drums in the original. But this one is a lot more magical.
people take things too seriously. this wasn't a serious thing. they're just having fun. personally, i think it's hilarious.
@AMWJesseJames Oh really? I assumed it was Brand since they did tours and stuff as Infant Sorrow. :))
Hearing Taylor say “sit on my face” 🤤🤤🤤 omg
@AMWJesseJames What makes you say that if you don't mind me asking?
GOOD
I gained alot more respect for Hanson
This is fuckin amazing! haha
@akiko91 sadly you cant watch a video of the original anywhere -.-
Anybody know what a tribute is? In some places musicians perform live- where tributes are a shared experience.
@lalathestylist Zac (the drummer) actually has the highest voice of the three. And if you compare Taylor's voice now to what it sounded like for MmmBop, it's definitely lower.
I think they did it, in my personal opinion this version rocks n taylor voice fits. the original version goes slower.
@tccfreak Hanson didn't write it for the movie. I own the CD and in the booklet it says that Dan Bern, Mike Viola, and Judd Apatow wrote it.
Digging the guitar fuzz though hahaha, but that's about it lol
Notorious Sloth hilarious...NOTT!! So why the lol? I couldnt even spurt a momentary "LiS" n i enjoy laughing in silence. Its not funny when only can see the humor thats missing
Infant Sorrow are a real band actually, this movie was supposed to mark their return, after hiatus, Russell Brand just plays the lead singer, its not his band in real life
@Teelow812 its referencing a drug from the movie, which is a combination of a ot of drugs and chemicals

They sound like young little Donny Osmand.. Need more of a Man's voice dude!!!
@IWhentOut it's just so unexpected..)
@alex342d what does that have to do with this cover?
@chrisman11335 Dude. Bands cover songs from Spinal Tap all the time. What's the difference?
Bahahahahaha I just laugh at the fact HANSON covered THIS SONG! LOL
I want a furry wall to stroke
no, infant sorrow was not a real band. it was a promo stunt for get him to the greek and forgetting sarah marshall. every bit of advertisement you ever saw about infant sorrow linked you straight to one of the two movie sites....and dispite the fact that they advertised an upcoming tour, said tour was fake, and the only shows they ever did were the ones they faked to record the movie.
is this the old hansons??
@AMWJesseJames Yeah I looked it up, and it is acutally Russell Brand, but I will have to look up the Jason Segal version you mentioned, unless I read that incorrectly or something.
@BedlaminBelgium90 Wow I think you're the one that "completely missed the point." They were covering it merely as a joke because they thought it was a funny movie. Some people are always looking for a way to put down Hanson when they don't have proper justification. Seriously get bent!

Hanson still exists? I thought their career died in '97.
s3rjiu yea and still going strong
@imaferretmaster If THIS gave you respect for them, check out their last 2 albums. Good shit, IMO.
This... is just a cover of a crappy comedy song. Still cool they did it.
"Hanson's cover of fictional band Infant Sorrow" should tell you all you need to know.
@dankster215 Its called a cover......I mean seriously.
@akiko91 lol I think it's jason Segel actually singing the song, but I might be wrong.
why did they do it????
I've gotta say, I'm not sure how I feel about this lol
@dankster215 Someone should learn the correct uses of "there," "their," and "they're."
i need fur for my walls
@chrisman11335 People who like to jam and have a good time as a musician. Would you rather they spend their days trolling RUclips? How's that workin for ya?
I need a jeffry
@birdmasta hahahhahahahaha i agree!
@S3rjiu Harsh. they may not be as famous, but they're definitely as good: infact they're much much much better....people only lost interest because they wrongly stereotyped hanson's music.
@WeHaveInsomnia What does it have to do with sexual orientation?
Nice cover. But I still like the original version. I like Brand's voice better.

@dankster215 You should learn your their/they're/theres.
aha, jeffrey.
well, is not that bad, at least they try, i cant even sing or play any fkn instrument, so i cant complain.
@codi1229 hahahaha
@bigsheldy this comment is full of win
@connorh485 Technically, the Native American language is the American language. But seriously though, what's with all the hostility, dude? Bash the Americans that bash you. Not all of us are like that, dude.

haha
I love Russel's version - hate Hanson's version
@emgalmanac ye, for a british rockstar persona, thats why this failed boy band sound so crap singing it
This sucks compared to the Original version.. got that awesome old school 60's sound to it..
@mooonbathing I Agree This Completely Sucked
Russell always better
...its...ok....but it lacks...crack...not as enticing...addicting....
Eh, it doesn't fit for me.
mmmbop your way out of the music business.
LOL! WTF???
