As far as size, I think this is more accurate than what most think. In this game Spino is longer but he is not more bulky. There is not a lot known about Spino and there is no true way to say just because he is longer also means he should be heavier. But some depictions make Spino so much larger in every way which just does not seem correct for what Spino hunted. Also as far as Rex being OP in this, he would be OP in real life. The most powerful dinos would be Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops and Ankylosaurus. The reason is because all 3 were in a evolutionary arms race and evolved what I call hyper weapons. How I saw this fight The spino being more territorial charging first, but Trex snaps and squares up then bites first, the spino then counters with it's bite, and deliver s another bite, this time to the arm. The T-Rex then bites the shoulder of the spino and they both take a rest from fighting for a moment. Once they square up the spino roars and bites the Rex's shoulder and they circle. The Rex then bites his neck and shoulder and they go to rest again. This time the spino tries to go and rest as it clearly is at a disadvantage for it's state right now. Once they both get a chance to rest they go to fight each other again taunting one another, but only to leave again. Then they approch each other and square up. Once they do the T-Rex is able to break the arm but is countered with a bite to the arm, finally the rex bit the should of the spino weakening it enough to snap onto the skull and push it aside to dodge a bite and crush the spino's neck or skull to finally kill it. Even if rex killed the spino it wasn't an easy fight as he had below 30% health

Spino in JP/// was confirmed to be a subadult which is why it wasn’t around during the events of The Lost World. JP Spino was able to eventually grow to 60 feet. Bigger than the I-rex.

People excusing the downsizing of the Spinosaurus because it's more "realistic" should also remember that the game has no problem showing Velociraptors and Dilophosauruses as their movie sizes and not their sizes in actuality. The bottom line is that Frontier is making a game based on a licensed property and should have portrayed the Spino as it was seen in the film.

How I saw this fight
The spino being more territorial charging first, but Trex snaps and squares up then bites first, the spino then counters with it's bite, and deliver s another bite, this time to the arm. The T-Rex then bites the shoulder of the spino and they both take a rest from fighting for a moment. Once they square up the spino roars and bites the Rex's shoulder and they circle. The Rex then bites his neck and shoulder and they go to rest again. This time the spino tries to go and rest as it clearly is at a disadvantage for it's state right now. Once they both get a chance to rest they go to fight each other again taunting one another, but only to leave again. Then they approch each other and square up. Once they do the T-Rex is able to break the arm but is countered with a bite to the arm, finally the rex bit the should of the spino weakening it enough to snap onto the skull and push it aside to dodge a bite and crush the spino's neck or skull to finally kill it. Even if rex killed the spino it wasn't an easy fight as he had below 30% health

Purploy it’s jaw power isn’t gonna do anything at all. Spinosaurus had teeth and a jaw designed for gripping. Not for killing off larger prey and crushing bone.

FYI Rexy is the biggest T rex. So the spinosaurus is slightly smaller, it is not like the t rex in the film where the spinosaurus killed it.

Spino in JP/// was confirmed to be a subadult which is why it wasn’t around during the events of The Lost World. JP Spino was able to eventually grow to 60 feet. Bigger than the I-rex.
