Never would have thought watching bushes being pushed in could be so relaxing on a Friday evening...

Put your radius arm in the sun and your Bush in the fridge. This will make it easier if you have limited tools.

One little trick that I always use when ever I’m replacing wheel bearing races or pressing in bushings is placing them in the freezer to shrink it

Would that be the same procedure for a p38?

will the process of removal of the bushings be the same process for removing the rear radius arm lower bushing

Look’s easy when you have a press. It’s a bloody nightmare doing it by hand not looking forward to doing the ones on my jimny.

Good idea. I'll see what I can do about that. Our D2 needs one on the front.

Wow you do like that grease....lol I would worry about you but I think that ship has sailed.
Nice tool ... I'm guessing if you want to retain a sharper edge for cutting then a better quality one is likely to last longer. Or do you just tart up the end every time you do a set of bushes?
I"ve always preferred the hacksaw approach as you can get away with a smaller vice. Using soap soapy water acts as an excellent lubricant on the rubber.

Can someone tell me the diameter of the holes in the radius arms? I have a custom vehicle looks like these Land Rover arms, and I cannot find bushings in a catalog. These are 0.625 inch, or about 41mm. And about 51mm wide. Also, ID of the sleeve would be handy.
