I've noticed a lot of people complaining about me cutting in the beginning. That is to show off that the tutorial is not possible to do without cutting, it says so in the top right corner. The level counter doesn't even start until after that part of the video. Please read the text on screen before commenting.

We actually did complete the first mocking birds level (all three sections) without cutting once. It is indeed possible but it's very difficult. (We didn't realize you could cut to make the other parts cut too).
DevannB I had a feeling that both Mocking Bird levels were possible, but I couldn't really get it to work. It's the type of thing I'll have to redo later with 2 people just to make it easier. Problem is even though I have people to help me with these videos they don't want to sit around doing these levels for long periods of time.

There is a fast way for the sludge bucket. Have one character crouch all the way on their flat end right next to the sludge bucket. Do the same with the other but behind sludge waterfall. Move the one behind the sludge waterfall towards the other while crouched still and when they reach the other one make the waterfall one stand up. It should launch a lot of sludge into the bucket

Metroidzard Its a mechanic cause a gimmick is just something that makes the game funnier or random or is just useful but an mechanic is most of the time needed or els the game would be really hard or even impossible And gimmicks arent always used thru a hole game but an mechanic does get used alot.
I can actually improve this a bit: Mocking Birds: The 2nd and 3rd are possible, barely. If you angle both characters downwards at a slight angle, then wiggle, the egg can pass through, which completes the 2nd one. For the third, flip yellow upside down and wiggle the egg through. On the horizontal area, angle both characters flat and cause them to wiggle( up, down, up, up, down repeat) Mega Mocking Birds: Again, possible, but harder. For some reason, if the egg clips in the pipe and you rotate, the egg has a chance to be launched outwards and land on the other player, and the eggs will survive the fall as long as the top of the player( the flat part) is facing down and is a small ramp. This can also be done with random shapes, if on player gets a year and the other vets a hour glass. These may have been patched in later updates

No, it was one person using both controllers.
There is a fast way for the sludge bucket. Have one character crouch all the way on their flat end right next to the sludge bucket. Do the same with the other but behind sludge waterfall.
