People seem to leaving out just how much Momoshiki would be right now. Boruto is already in the top 3 strongest in the story and Momoshiki who understands all Shinjutsu and various other jutsus is still present. Momoshiki should be at least 2x more devastating than Boruto. I actually think he can solo those shinju beings. I mean he literally eats them.

Yeah Code was clearly a subversion of the main bad guy (having by random luck/stupidity created multiple threats well above him and Kawaki) Code is literally like a crappier version of Kabuto (minus the medical knowledge and cool aspects that made part 1 Kabuto work) for all intents and purposes, the guy is clowned on so consistently like he even wants to become what his master was. Honestly though I think Boruto will mark Code with his own Karma and use Code after Momoshiki finds a way to take over (or if they decide to work together etc)

Boruto may do it with intentions to save them all from him. i feel like boruto will lose control and kill someone and then awaken jougan or something an revive that person. Then kawaki will be cornere and he will run out of village. Village is gonna bde desttroyed by shinju/amado/akebi/shibai... Boruto will eventualy surpress momoshiki or omo will go kuramas path and join borutos side. Kawaki will then team up with boruto to get rid of common enemy like sasuke did in 4th great shinobi war. And then afte all things happen, kawaki will try to destroy shinobi system ( cuz we all know how he is against it), and by doing that he will have somone hurt of killed or sealed away or whatever. And thats when they will fight
so kawaki is basically jealous of boruto and wants him to be gone so he can live his life. Its not just about momoshiki threat at this point. Cuz if it is just momoshiki threat that he wants to kill boruto , then why woul he want to unleash him and cause chaos knowing momoshiki will wrech chaos in konoha and will also target kawaki as ten tails seed. So im startign to bealive kawaki ahs gone mad and he is more jealous of boruto than anything else
