also in OUTRO you will see a guy raking leaves in a yard in the background referencing this video WAKE UP as NF walks us through reminders of songs that were along the journey up to that point... while moving us forward towards 'the rest of the story' Important to note at the end of OUTRO Nate drops a strong clue about INTRO3 that comes directly after OUTRO leaving great suspense as you discover one of Nate's most impactful and important pieces to this epic puzzle better known as 'The NF journey' The Final Battle! so to speak... love your journey so far guys... ;)
@@DadDaughtersandDrinks Yeah many commenters will caution you with warnings to watch OUTRO before INTRO3 when you get that far so.... heads up now lol ;)
Great reaction! Notice in the video when you see the woman’s family photo on the mantle near her car keys and the family photo disappears but her keys to her expensive car remains. Also, the guy raking leaves sitting as the expensive car pulls out of the garage, I believe, was the woman. I think he was her landscaper or something. He saw her life as perfect but she was in just as much turmoil as he was.
As far as this songs place in the journey and how it relates to Nate, he expresses later his fear of never “waking up” and coming to the end of life without growing and moving beyond his issues
I believe this song is not specifically HIS story as it is one where he has seen it in others around him. But we can all be guilty of looking at the 'grass is always greener' situation and not taking action in our own life when we have the opportunity! I personally did NOT have this in my Journey list, but added it as I saw how the idea of it was important! I.E. We all have regrets from what we did or didn't do in our past.
