BunBunMaru Vs Daimon Lau: A Legendary Rivalry in the Virtua Fighter Community

We've seen a lot of FGC Rivalries throughout the years from Daigo vs. Alex Valle, Wolfkrone vs. K-Brad, MenaRD vs. Tokido, and also SonicFox vs. Perfect Legend. But in 1995, there was one rivalry that happened in the Japanese Virtua Fighter community, and it happened during the release of Virtua Fighter 2.
This is how the rivalry between BunBunMaru and Daimon Lau came to be.

Thanks for the memories! Back in the day when the newsgroups talked about nothing but VF2, these guys were already legends. The m-UpKnife float of death, or the tricky senbon punch brought a whole level of technical complexity to a game that only had three buttons. Fortunately SEGA was kind enough to feature some game play demos by these gentlemen as extras in the home version of the game.
