    The odor neutralizing scent is an added feature. You don’t have to use the scent. You could take the sent cap out of it and leave blank That’s a stupid negative impact.

      i just ordered one too yesterday! but after purchasing it, i compared it directly from the shark website - its different model #. Costco is UA1450 and the one from the website/this review is HP302. not sure if i should be returning the Costco one for the HP302.

    If you read the manual, the never change filters are the pre-filters not the filter inside the bottom

    • @chrisacker5277
      @chrisacker5277 21 день назад

      It sorta is deceptive by saying you never change filter, but if you read the manual it points it out clearly so I was fooled by it also

    Oh, I vacuum my HEPA filter. I think it still works well vacuumed. I think all of these filters need a wc test for their blowers. 1wc is a clogged filter & I think a higher wc blower would also extend the life of a filter b/c it can pull air through it for longer.

    Ok, so what is not mentioned often, if you want to vape in a relatively small room (8x8 feet) with option to air out daily at certain times, would something like this help? This is really hard to find answers on. Cigarettes are more likely to get mentioned. And yes, I am drunk as hell after taking a filter shot

    • @jazzbea6243
      @jazzbea6243 9 дней назад

      There is not a purifier out there that removes odor. If you vape in the same room it becomes part of the surroundings. The smell will always be there.

      Sorta, but it gets it out of the air you are breathing. The room I have were the carpet still smells like dog urine, smells like a new house. This thing is a beast, and at Costco for $219 is a deal

    Of the many Shark products ( HP302 , HC502 , HP201 , HP202), not sure which can meet the California clean-air requirements. Some Shark filters use ozone (HP302, HC502) and therefore can't be shipped to California!
    BTW, non have a Wifi app option for remote air monitoring?!

    • @shopwithcelia
      @shopwithcelia 2 дня назад

      i discovered this too when i was about to reorder from Amazon - the message said 'This product does not meet California air cleaner regulation requirements, and cannot be shipped to California.' I actually bought one from Costco online yesterday but after doing a lil more research, i found out it's a different model #. Can't purchase HP302 from Amazon but can order from Best Buy, Target, Home Depot, etc. Not sure if I should return and reorder because idk if its worth keeping if it doesn't meet California air cleaner regulation?

    What is the best air purifier?

    • @jazzbea6243
      @jazzbea6243 9 дней назад

      Honestly, there is no best. I have tried many different brands of purifiers. I have Alan, Winex, Idylis, shark and honeywell. I have 3 cats, no cat allergies, but I do react to fragrance. With sincere truthfulness, I have not found a single purifier that does an outstanding job of capturing dander., dust or bad smells. I have 4 purifiers in my main living area. My home is an open concept so I have them placed in various areas. Also, I have purifiers in each bedroom. My home is 4 years old and I have had my vents "professionally" cleaned twice.
      I have to change the filters every 6 weeks. They get clogged up quickly. Every morning when I get up there is a considerable amount of dust and dander on the floor. I have two dyson V11 animal sticks (would NEVER recommend a Dyson product) and vacuum several times per day. The vacuum canisters get filled each time. I also brush and bathe my cats on a regular basis.
      If you don't have animals, never open the windows, remove shoes before entering, I think all of the above mentioned purifiers will help. It also depends on what you want a purifier for. Allergies, general cleaning, pets, etc?
      Not a single purifier does as promised, in my experience. Having said that, I can't imagine what my house would be like if I didn't have so many purifiers.
      ps: I have so many of them because I don't want my guests leaving my home with a cat growing on their clothing. I also cover my furniture, wash the coverings once a week and vacuum the furniture deeply once a month.

    You don't need to use the air freshener, it works perfectly well without it

    • @jazzbea6243
      @jazzbea6243 9 дней назад

      Air freshener is loaded with toxic chemicals that will cause more damage. Why in the world would anyone who purchases an air purifier pair it with toxic fragrances? That's an oxymoron.

    It’s no a never change then, it is a false advertisement, can we sue them for that! Main reason we bought one is that we never change filters. This was my impression on their advertising!

    • @chrisacker5277

      The never change filter are the side pre filters . You have to look at the instruction manual

    • @Kodiak1293
      @Kodiak1293 19 дней назад

      Sorry, the never change is the hepa filter that could last up to 5 years. It is not the prefilters

    • @jazzbea6243
      @jazzbea6243 9 дней назад

      I believe you would not have to change the HEPA filter for 5 years if it's in a sealed room no one ever enters. OH, the sealed room must be on floor #99 where bugs, pollen and other pesky crap that enters our home never goes.

      People LOVE fragrance poofed into the air. I find it interesting that all these folks who buy purifiers, claiming they have allergies also use at least 100 scented products in their home and another 50 on themselves. I don't get it??
