      Soraya I love your sponge technique🥰Do you wash the sponges after use and reuse them again on other paintings or do you discard them. And always use new clean spong?

      @@SoulArtist1 Hi! I always wash and let dry completely, then reuse. If I have forgotten, then they are too crusty and unfortunately, I have to start with a new one....lol Hope that helps. Have a great day and thanks for watching!

    Another gorgeous sponge painting!!!! I just love you and your painting. I appreciate your explaining so well.
    Ok, I tried the sponge. I’m wondering if I didn’t have enough paint on the sponge. I ended up using a brush and results aren’t the same. Also, can you reuse sponges once cleaned? The paint hardened and I ended up trimming old paint off. Thanks SO much!! Patti

    • @SorayaZiziArtist
      @SorayaZiziArtist  7 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you so much Patti😀💖 I’m so glad to hear that you tried it. You will have to keep experimenting with the amount of paint. This will depend on how far you spread it and the area you want to cover. Not sure if that’s clear. So, in other words, small area , use less paint. You’ll get the feel for it. If the sponge you’re using is left for a long period of time then it will dry out. I use the same sponge but if I need to get a clean one, then I put the old sponge in water. I always clean , dry and reuse my sponges. Hope that helps. 😀

    • @SorayaZiziArtist
      @SorayaZiziArtist  9 месяцев назад

      Thank you! I don’t prepare my canvas in any way. In this case I painted a base colour to go over a failed attempt at a painting. Otherwise if I’m working on a new canvas, I just start painting. No gesso. Nothing. Dry canvas. After the painting is done I leave it to cure for at least 2-3 days. I varnish with spray varnish. I find I get a nice smooth finish that way. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching from Australia! Wow😁

    • @SorayaZiziArtist
      @SorayaZiziArtist  6 месяцев назад

      Thanks so much! When I apply the colours, it is with minimal amounts so most often they dry very quickly. I also am using colours that will blend beautifully even if they are wet. Bonjour, je ne suis pas "fan" de peinture abstraite du tout, par contre les vôtres me parlent beaucoup. J'aime ce que vous faites et la façon dont vous le faites. Je peins à l'acrylique depuis plus de vingt cinq ans mais longtemps en dilettante. Il aura fallu que j'atteigne les cinquante ans pour m'y remettre et que ça devienne une passion. Très malade, je ne peux peindre autant que je le souhaiterais mais j'en rêve. J'aime la perspective atmosphérique, la brume dans les paysages et les tons de terre comme le sienne que vous avez utilisé en fond. Ces tons de terre se marient si bien. C'est un plaisir de vous regarder peindre. Connaissez-vous Sergueï Toutounov ? J'aime ce qu'il est et ce qu'il fait, vous pouvez trouver des vidéos de lui, qui datent un peu, sur RUclips. Bonne continuation à vous, et à bientôt !

      Merci beaucoup. Je suis désolé d'apprendre que vous êtes malade. J'espère que vous récupérerez pour peindre. Comme toi, c'est ma passion. Je suis tellement heureuse que vous aimiez me regarder créer. Cela signifie beaucoup pour moi. Merci, et je vais le chercher. Tous mes vœux.
