Lori Knight, I wouldn’t say wrong. In the video we made today, my daughter has is on the opposite way. I do it that way so that my stitches don’t get crushed by the q snap and also when I set it against the wall, only my back is touching anything.
You can think of it as a tic tac toe board. Up in the bottom left, skip the center hole, down in the top right hole. To cross- up in the bottom right, skip the center hole, and down the top left. So you are essentially covering 9 holes with each stitch
I’ve never thought of putting the Qsnap On like that, maybe I’ve been doing it wrong I’m a relatively new stitcher

Where do you start on linen? In the middle or from the left side and work over to the right?
I usually start in the middle and go up!
I’m unclear on how to count the squares Aida is one for one. So is even weave/linen over 9?
