    Thanks to the organizers and the panelists for a comprehensive and insightful ( though non-surgical )discussion of RPS. As of the case ( presented ) the histology and the grade would determine the course of management. To conclude Radiation except for WD & G1 LPS ( may increase the chances of R0 resection) has probably no role in lieomyosarcoma wherein neo Adj chemo would certainly be beneficial. Respected speakers have not elaborated the use of pre-op chemo with hyperthermia is selected tumors ( a standard practice In German sarcoma centers)

    It appears that STRASS trial failed to show any significant survival benefit for radiation. However well differentiated LPS had lower local recurrence vs de-differentiated type. Post op is radiation is as well of doubtful value. STRASS 2 may be able to answer the role neo-Adj chemo.
