We would have never guessed such a tragic event had occured here in Rapid City, but a local gave us the brutal history lesson.
There has been a surprising amount of tragedies in this area when you really start to dive in.
If you want to learn more about it, just look into the history of the Crazy Horse Memorial.
On a brighter note, we also explored Wind Cave National Park in this episode, unfortunately, the actual cave was closed due to construction.... so we will definitely be back.
But we make the best of our adventures!
