Biography of
Zakir Naik is a public speaker and Islamic preacher who is famous in the Arab and Islamic worlds for his controversial lectures on comparative religion. He excelled greatly in this field and memorized entire texts of the divine and positive religions by heart in more than one language, to the point where he was nicknamed “Deedat the Great” to compare him to Ahmed Deedat, the professor. The theorist in the Islamic religion and author, he was also considered the most influential preacher in India, especially since he belongs to the Salafist sect and embraces its point of view despite his public rejection of sectarianism in Islam.
Beginnings
Meeting Mr. Ahmed Deedat, the Islamic preacher and thinker, in 1987 was one of the milestones in the life of Zakir Naik, who was studying medicine at the time.
Dr. Zakir graduated from the University of Bombay Medical College and worked in medicine for a while, but he began Islamic preaching in 1991. He said about himself during an interview on the People in Power program that he was an ordinary Muslim who performed the five daily prayers and the regular pillars of Islam in Mumbai.
Zakir Naik started in the field of advocacy based on his superior skill in debate and proving his point of view with logic and facts. This was his strongest characteristic, despite his suffering from slurred speech or “stuttering” when he was young.
He always believed that medicine was the most important profession in humanity, and both his brother and father were doctors, but when he discovered a greater profession than medicine, he moved to it to become a doctor for the soul and not the body.
He founded the International Islamic School in 1991, and United Islamic Aid to provide scholarships to poor and Muslim youth.
The meetings with Professor Ahmed Deedat changed his life. He was greatly influenced by the logic of the famous Islamic debater and preacher, so he decided to allocate two hours to preaching weekly with the launch of the Islamic Research Organization. He then increased the time allocated to preaching to two hours daily, and this was after he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine.
Zakir Naik remained torn between medicine and preaching, and he practiced both for a while until he devoted himself entirely to Islamic preaching after the approval of his family, almost all of whom worked in medicine.
Personal life of
Zakir Naik was born in Mumbai to Muslim parents and followed their Sunni sect.
He began the field of Islamic preaching and became preoccupied with it during his studies in medicine, and after a crucial meeting with Professor Ahmed Deedat in 1987, he began Islamic preaching in 1991.
Naik graduated from the University of Mumbai Medical College and practiced for a short time before devoting himself to Islamic preaching completely in 1993.
In 2006, the Islamic Research Foundation, headed by Naik, established Peace TV, a non-profit television network that broadcasts free programs live and is considered one of the largest religious satellite television networks in the world.
The Al-Hidaya program was launched in 2021 with the aim of providing educational content about Islam.
He founded the Peace TV channel, which was banned in India, Sri Lanka, and the United Kingdom.
He has many books, the most important of which are about Islam, comparison of religions, and the most famous questions asked by non-Muslims about Islam.
He wrote his first book, Answers to Non-Muslims Common Questions, in 2003.
His second book, “Is the Qur’an the Word of God” in 2003.
The book Similarities Between Hinduism & Islam was launched in 2007.

كيف ذكر النبي محمد عليه الصلاة والسلام في الكتب الهندوسية وهي ليست كتب سماوية، يعني ليست من عند الله جل في علاه؟
أخي كلامك سليم 100 % الكتب الهندوسية كتبت كما تعلم بواسطة بشر
وهي ليست كتب سماوية لكن من كتبها كان يقتبس من الكتب السماوية الأخرى
لأقناع الناس بصدقها وكان يكتب بعض الحقائق وكان يريد بها ليس الأيمان بالله بل الأيمان بما هو يريد
فعندما تريد أن تقنع شخصا على ديانة ما وكمثال كما رأيت في الفيديو على الديانة الهندوسية لابد من محاججته بمعتقده
وهي الكتب الهندوسية لو حاججته بالقران فكيف سيصدق ويقتنع وهو ليس مؤمن به
والدكتور ذاكر نايك قد درس الهندوسية وهو عالم في مقارنة الأديان أرجو أن يكون الجواب واضح أخي
