Flat out gravel Rally action from Cropton and Wass Moor at an unseasonably dry an quick 2023 Riponian Rally. (So dry in fact that I forgot my boots and still came back home with dry feet!)

class videos, cars are absolutely sending it, looks like one id want to go to next time as id never even heard of it until now
It's the fastest Riponian I've been to! Usually the stages are really wet, muddy and slippery this time of year which slows things down a lot!
Great footage, just wish I didn't get slightly angry with the photographer's stood on the outside of the really fast bump left at 00:52 every time that corner was shown, might look worse on video but to me seems a daft place to stand.
Thanks! Yeah bit too close for comfort there, one bad bounce and they would've been in the firing line! (hence why I was stood on the bank out of the way filming).
In all fairness the spectators were a little out of order all weekend. People walking up the stages in the middle of the road and stood where they shouldn't be got Gale Rigg stopped briefly and then a couple of them got hit and it cancelled the run for the last few cars. With things going tits up in Ireland with insurers, spectators getting themselves ran over is the last thing UK Rallying needs
@@PescaraProductions Agree absolutely. I think Rally as a community needs to be more vigilant about this sort of thing. All it takes is one serious incident to occur and that could be the end for Rallying as we know it.

That tar chicane was utterly ridiculous, poor job
I have no problems with the rally having tarmac sections but that was just a really bizarre section of the stage!
bits of tar have been in Yorkshire stages for years, but that pathtci plastic block system was woeful, just no need for it to be so tight, if you cant get round it on lock it is too tight if it is man made@@MWRaceRally
