this has become such a special song to me :-) 11 months ago I had a baby boy and since then this has become our daily happy morning dance song. i hold him tight in my arms and we dance around the living room in our pj's before breakfast. often it brings tears to my eyes, this song reminds me of such wonderful moments I have so far had with my son. I love the calm reaction he gets when i play it, he hears it so often, he's familiar with it's sound and i can tell that he loves it as much as i do. thanks for creating such great music Dustin!

Sarah.. It is. I heard this early 2014, and it was the fist song I heard from Dustin. And I've played it so much it's a part of me, I think I came across it after listening to some S. Carey and thought "I need more Dustin, where is it?" then all of a sudden "Illuminate" and "Home" comes along and they literally made me stop breathing for a few seconds and now there's a debut album coming. So we get to fall in love some more.
This song still makes me extremely emotional. I was listening to this song when I found out my dog died, I was at the beach looking at the sunrise. I will never forget that moment. Love you Juno💕

I immediately want to get in my car and drive around town with the windows down, blasting and singing along to this song, and the weight of life rolls off my shoulders. Thank you Dustin for blessing my life with these beautiful sounds.
i remember this was the soundtrack to my first breakup. Back then it was an ode to a feeling I didn’t want to have anymore. Now it’s been 7 years, and although those feelings have long gone, it doesn’t take much for them to linger back into my chest, when I play this song.

@@Worrallthegreat Yeah, for a while when hip hop and rap started and New Wave ending, I was so worried there would never be any good music again. Then, thankfully this Indie music that I love as much , if not more than what I grew up with emerged. I am 62, so I have heard music for many, many years & this style beats most of em hands down. YTG, Dustin, Beach House, Real Estate, Foxtrax ( who sadly broke up this week), ATTU, Otowa, Seafret,Van Andrew, The Shins, Local Natives, Silversun Pickups, Beach Fossils, Strfkr, War On Drugs, Lumineers, Kaleo, and on and on and on. I just love this stuff- loud and all the time.

Why did bon iver turned into some folktronic band!?! His stuff just with him and the acoustic guitar is lovely,and also his second album has such a great mix of instruments.but bon iver turned more folk dubstep hybrid? Just doesn't seem right

Many eons ago Dustin's "The Breach" found me. It spoke to me like never before. And I've always deeply enjoyed the music and especially the lyrics. "The Breach" to me is about letting go with gratitude for lessons learned by both parties. It is not possible for us to always have compatible goals from one life to another. Not long after "The Breach" found me, I found a song I can never tire of hearing, which is Dustin's "Where I Find You.". Somewhere along the way, humanity knew that when we love another and forgive another we love and forgive ourselves. By these - simple thoughts, kind words and deeds - we physically "Build a Bridge" to a "Better Tomorrow".. Thank you for your work Dustin. Your message is being broadcast loud and clear. Came across this song a Playlist almost 10 years ago. Crosses my mind from time to time. Crazy how some music can sort of teleport you back to a moment in time. Everytime there is this rush of memories accompanied by diminishing emotions. Like a jar of something finite that you can only open so many times. Easily puts into perspective how life is so fleeting. I feel a melancholic gratitude everytime I crack the lid open. But I must be careful not to do it too often. It's only good for so many.
