As a noob to ATS I have discovered that unfortunately the number one mod that causes many issues is "any sound mod". I confirmed this via forum that if any issue arises even if not sound related; rotate through your sound mods to see if one is the culprit. That being said; not too long ago I lost all sound. Culprit turned out to be the accessories pack; now this was before 1.40 and I was running beta 1.39 - haven't gone back to check if I can have the dash fans and kitty cat back.....
I really love the K100 but fear screwing up my savegame if it's no longer supported. The reason why I mostly use 'light' mods which can easily be deactivated without any big issues.
Do you mean from the sleeper? That's probably using dev tools and editing camera positions, if I guessed. Driving from the cabin is standard behavior..
Very late reply, but… my friend accidentally did this in the Freightliner Argosy mod, you rotate your view far enough to the right or something and you’ll get into the sleeper.

sigh, yet another "physics" mod that gets it wrong. theres a thing called "shock absorbers" that stop the truck bouncing like a rubber ball. the only time it would bounce like that, is when the shock absorbers are broken and need to be replaced... also the real physics are attainable already by just editing the config file on your profile save folder... uset g_cabin_suspension_stiffness "-1" uset g_suspension_stiffness "-1" uset g_trailer_stability "-1" uset g_truck_stability "-1" be warned, you will roll the truck if you take a corner too fast, or if you are too aggressive with steering inputs. just like in real life.
The base games suspension physics have been driving me nuts since I know how Tractor-Trucks actually handle since my family has a business. So this is very much appreciated!

Some honorable mentions I would add are Harvens Kenworth W990 and Vipers Peterbilt 379/389. Both are great mods and I use both on 1.40

I actually already had the K 100-E, and while I AM a Pete guy (I run Viper's Pete)....I would without question give this truck 5 stars.

🤔 Try look on your settings.. I mean, mine are noisy too. I have the shadows maxed out, how about you?
@@MilanTrucker Same here, ok then it seems to be normal. I have increased the shadow map size to 8192 in the config file. No difference
now I set the quality to low, no soft shadows any longer, but no noise :) shadow size is set to 8192 in the config file
