  • this is pretty much a video where we go way back to look at animatronics that had extremely Advanced and innovative Animation features during the early time periods that these things came out. staring with Gemmy, then tekky, then seasonal visions which all became the top dominators of the Halloween retail industry having the most unique Animatronics that have ever been seen, and what opened the doors to all the stuff we have gotten over th years possibilities this can be taken to, and what made spirit halloween what it is known as today. i really hope you enjoy this video. lots of thought was put into it, and this will make for a great historical documentary one day for these things it has a bunch of info for any people or kids just getting into this stuff now that they may want to know. sorry it's so long, but sometimes long videos are very ideal and it's what makes a video good.

So, think about this, I kinda messed up on my top 10 list, I dont think it makes sense to have 2 gemmy witches that have the same amount of animation to be 2 different rankings so it's a tough decision for #9. between gruesome granny or creepy rising doll ill leave that for you to decide. with that being said, I now at number 8. Is where I put broken spine girl and at 7. The gemmy witches either version sense it's a preference of which one you may like more. Everything else remains the same. When I was talking about magic power. Theres one very important animatronic that I totally left out that being the wolf spitter from 2012 spirit Halloween exclusive, the only animatronic we've ever seen to spit water out of its mouth after chewing in a bloody leg. I feel like you could replace #10 grave digger with wolf spitter that's a very fair comparison as well. I also forgot about the fitco/pan Asian coffin skeleton that was at kmart 2007, it's the first animatronic to he laying down and slowly rise up, head turns to face you, moves its mouth and very unique light design for the eyes, a bunch of LEDs in the coffin illuminated the whole thing.

Lmao 40 to 50 bucks for a full sized spirit ball back in the day and now 70 bucks for a small one at Lowe’s. Man things have changed

Great video love the in depth history! I would like to also mention when it comes to SVI that I believe they were the first company to standardize using windshield/reindeer motors in propd built with metal wire frames. That caused an industry wide change starting around 2015/16 as most if not all companies use the wire frame build to have smaller boxes and cheaper production!

I think that the new YJ Regan is pretty unique and new with the projector, the head turning is nothing interesting but the projector is something we’ve never seen before

This was such a cool video! It's really cool seeing how companies make products nowadays. While some of the items we get nowadays are mostly just reskins or items that just have the same motion, it's always so cool finding an item that is unique and different. I try to go for the more unique items in my haunt or something like that. It's a mix really. Again, really cool video! Great job!

I love this video! It's simply amazing what they were doing in the early 2000s, and the digiteye and servo stuff nowadays is pretty impressive, when done right. Awesome! Also, for count vigor, mine actually was the model with the opposite direction eyes, but I switched the wiring on the head motor so it would be the same direction instead👌
