Josh Tick was a boy growing up in Alaska and then moved to Texas but always wanted Alaska to have a baseball team and now is his time. His brother is Avi Tick who after the postseason would throw to Josh to help Josh swing better. Avi Tick would throw a ball but not as hard as posible to increase Josh’s speed so he played center field in little league and high school. Josh also helped Avi Tick when he was 5 but then Avi out passed Josh Thank you if you choose me or not. Have a good day!
James Vanders lll is a just city boy born and raised in South Detroit. He never thought about a career in baseball, instead wanting to be a accountant. However, one night he took the midnight train going anywhere and ended up in Alaska where he saw his first polar bears game. He was hooked and went out and bought all the gear and started to play left field. Now all he wants to do is make the team and go down as one of the best players in history
Buddy Teel is an under the radar lefty pitcher with high velocity. Growing up he always used to pitch to his brother Kyle. Although they were both standouts in highschool, Buddy was always underrated and scouts never seemed to care about his velocity. Now in Alaska he is excited to be living with his brother and he is excited to hopefully be the next star out of the polar bears farm system.
Smokey Chipotle is from Mexico and did kindergarten 3 times but he sure can hit. in high school he wrecked 54 bombs and stole 56 bases while being the smallest on his team at only 5' 4". he grew up watching the Portland pickles and Randy Trout and wants to play for an MLB team so much. his bat is green and named avocado cilantro.
Roman Escobar a 6,4 200 pound 1st baseman. His great hitting ability and fielding makes him a great dh/1b. He was a power foward in high school for the basketball team. He decided to play baseball when he saw Randy trout on the tv. He decided to practice every day. Going into the draft combine he did great and he looks like 4-5 round pick.
Kevin Woodchuck. His last name is somewhat of a local legend in his small Southern California town. Allegedly it's because his family has the "broken bat" curse, bats seemed to break more often when they hit the ball. Because of this, his dad always told him "Doesn't matter how hard you hit it. If it's in play, run like hell", and that's exactly what Kevin did. From tee-ball to college, Kevin grew up idolizing Tony Gwynn from his favorite team the Padres, and other contact hitters like Ichiro. Now he's here to hit for average and use his speed to beat out those broken bat singles to prove that you don't need to be a slugger to make it in the big leagues. Just get it in play, and run like hell.
Kelin Irfink, a third baseman , grew up practicing with a makeshift bat and a tennis ball in his backyard, dreaming of playing in the big leagues despite countless people doubting him. In his 2 nd year of college, he led his team to a state championship. After suffering a wrist injury, he worked tirelessly in rehab, refusing to let setbacks define him, and has returned stronger and ready to lead the Polar Bears to a World Series Championship
I love the polar bear series so I have a player for you. Meet Rinto Enokizono. He’s an 18 year old kid from the big city Tokyo. As a kid he wasn’t the best at baseball. He didn’t have space and time but had a dream to enter the draft. He playes a lot of positions. Center field, 2nd base, 3rd base, and shortstop. With Center being his main primary position. He switch hits and a contact hitter that focus on his fast speed. He idolises Seiya Suzuki, Bryce harper, and Cody Bellinger. Because he idolises Suzuki he has the same batting stance as him. He also throws right I hope you choose him if you don’t use him pls use him next season
Connor Bangs. Number 2. A young stud second basemen out of a small town in Hartford, Connecticut, modeling his play after Yankees shortstop Anthony Volpe, which is his MLB comparison just with more pop. Was a unit for UCONN last year hitting .322 with 38 bombs and 121 RBI, but was just passed up on in the draft. Coming out of one of the smallest towns in the country, Bangs wants to prove that he deserves a spot. And is ready for Alaska
John Humphrey is nephew of josh Donaldson, and after his family ran into trouble with the law, he was sent to spend time with his uncle during his time with the blue jays, during this time he began playing high school baseball, and after a season with 16 homers in 10 games, he got the nickname of “John Snow” afterwards he chose to attend buffalo university, where he missed his freshman year following him breaking his ankle during a play on which he landed on the first baseman’s foot. Following his injury, he struggled is sophomore and junior years, and he was forced to move from center field to left due to his ankle injury. But when he entered his final year of eligibility he managed to hit 27 hrs while batting .422. Now he is waiting to get a call from any teams manager, and with his uncle being josh Donaldson, he has no need for a large contract, so he is open to playing for any team. I’ve been watching the entirety of this series, and I’m glad that you had this idea, as others would probably put in much less effort, keep it up!
Derrell Dickson was a SP in high school and was the best starter in his school, then he went off to college at Mississippi State. He wanted nothing more than to play in the MLB, and he would stop at nothing to do this.
Corey Taylor, front man of Slipknot and Stone Sour, has grown tired of the rock star life and has decided that pitching is his new passion. While he is 50 years old, he lies about his age and gets into shape in hopes of making his new dream of making the MLB come true. He decides his jersey number will be 8, continuing his legacy as number 8 of Slipknot. He makes his walkout song 'Duality' as to remember his past, and his wild path in life. He gets drafted and is told by his club that they will use him at the relief/closing role, and while it's not his first choice, he's happy with it.
Vladimir Guerrero III is a pitcher that didn’t inherit the bat his dad and grandfather had and had a rough start at the plate but would make great throws in the field. He was switched to pitcher, where he played through his years at Toledo to stay close to his dad and to be the first in the 3 generations to go to college. He has a lot of control and power in his arm while trying to get drafted by a team up north where he’s used to while not being shadowed by his father and grandfather’s legacies.
Vladimir Putin Jr grew up in Russia as the son of russias dictator Vladimir Putin sr. Vladimir always wanted to impress his dad, but his dad was always busy at work, Vladimir didn’t know how he would impress his dad. One day he had an idea of a way to impress his dad, he decided he would train to start destroying baseballs just like his dad wants to do to Ukraine 💀 over the years Vladimir honed his skills becoming better and better, and even impressing his dad. He had one more problem, there weren’t any local little leagues to show off his skills, but one day luck was on his side. Vladimir was sent to the US by his father in a prison exchange, Vladimir got to play at the local little league and dominated, he rose through the ranks and eventually was drafted to the mlb.
Alex Nieves should be renamed as Juan Nieves Jr. His father, former Brewers SP Juan Nieves (also a lefty), threw a no-hitter at the age of 22 in 1987 but played just 3 seasons before a career ending arm injury. Now Juan lives through his son Junior and pushes him to have the career that he couldn't. Juan Sr has been a Major League pitching coach for most of the last 15 years and has pulled aside guys like Sale and Skubal to teach his son their pitching grips and delivery. The stuff is there but he struggles with his command as his father tries to constantly reinvent his delivery.
Jackson McCracken grew up in Norristown, Pennsylvania. He played goalkeeper for his middle school's soccer team, but switched over to be a outfielder in baseball. He has amazing speed, and since he played keeper, he has good contact, vision, and plate discipline, but he lacks power. He went to Lansdale Catholic High School and played baseball there for 4 years, but only got one offer to the University of Alaska Anchorage. With no other choices, he went to Alaska and stayed in University all 4 years while still playing baseball, developing his speed more along with his contact. He dreams of playing in the MLB, but there was no MLB team in Alaska, and he is broke from student debts that he needs to pay off. Please choose me

Marshall mays, drafted in the 15382 round of the draft because he always downed 45 beers before a game. But in reality he’s a pretty damn good player. He made Alaska 2% male 98% female just to see Marshall. (And yes the 2% is gay) he was drafted out of blue mountain state
EJ Trout, a SS who is from California and grew up hitting water bottle cap and fielding apples just for a opportunity to play in the big league and all of his hard work paid off when he got a scholarship to UNLV to play baseball he sluged in his 4 at UNLV bating 350 with 100 hr's and 200 RBI's he grew up being a big mike Trout fan not even knowing he was mike and William trout cousin
WEEK 3 ASKING: Santana Russell an 18 year old high school baseball player from Inglewood California. He used baseball to escape the gang violence that surrounded him. He lived with a single mother and didn't have a lot of income. He was ranked a top 10 HS Shortstop in the state of California. He is a very tall and lengthy player with a glove first style of play. He can hit from both sides of the plate but has more power from the left side. Projected to be a late draft pick and wants to sign to the league instead of playing college so he can get money to put his mom in a better situation.
Weston Laidlaw is a shortstop from Falmouth maine growing up he loved sports but his real love was baseball he won thee state championship 6 times and one as a walk off home run he has been to a ton of baseball games most of them are polar bears games he goes to college at Vanderbilt and is in this draft class and hopes to get drafted even if he doesn’t he will still play hard and try to get to the majors.
