I personally use Edge of Spring from Tekken6, as the Mystical Forest was one of my favourite stages. I'mma swap to Formless Like Water eventually to keep things fresh.
this game really wanna make me play yoshimitsu, wasn't such a fan off his tekken 7 costumes and the way he played, they definetly gave the character some love and i like it.

Healing also works with normal stance if you are in heat. Flash is still op as fuck. So now flash also heals some health aside from it usual stuff. It does not launch in sword stance sadly but b2,2 gives a decent damage and goes heat mode which charges att opponent and gives you a window of mixup. With yoshis mixup list you can get a chunk of damage and perhaps even launch getting crazy damage. The animation in sword stance knocks them on their knee.
Maybe it's a true combo, rather than a guaranteed grounded hit like with KIN1+2,d1 situation. I noticed that ff3,KINf2 is also a true combo on hit. I don't think it was the case in T7.
@@Betterdangaming also I think the flash,df1,d2,2,2,ff2:2,d1 combo only works on biggies. I tried it in practice vs Yoshi and Jin and d1 whiffs. Against Jack it works, but it's only 52 damage. I'd rather just do flash,3,1,2,2,4,d2,2,1 for 56 damage. It's easier to do and it's universal.
It's reassuring to see I'm not the only Yoshi getting my ass kicked in T8. I'll win the first match, we'll rematch, I'll lose match 2 and they'll either not rematch, or I'll lose match 3 and then they won't rematch lol.

I haven't fully played a Tekken game since 5/6. And returning to it... it kind of feels like a Marvel vs game. With the Heat Meter and the special knock out moves. And I gotta say.....................I'm not a fan. I Understand they want to bring in more casual fans.. but it sort of no longer feels like Tekken anymore. If I wanted Heat Moves ill play Street Fighter or MK.

After the screw, you can do a deep SSL and land 3,2,1+2 for 61
