I remember fishing that exact same spot way back in the day, caught bullheads and goldeye.
You may want to consider picking up some 4 or 5 ounce flat weights, I find they sit on the bottom a little better instead of rolling around in the current.

Hi thanks for the tip. We stopped there kind of on a whim from memories back in the day. Might try it again soon with the current slowing. We used to catch decent sized channel cats back in the day.
