What a beautiful story brother, I just bought one, and I hope I get to share it with my son for a long time
How's the performance with that 9.9
I made it out to sandy bar last year and enjoyed the location. I still can’t get into fishing as much as others but it is an excuse to get out and my grandson really enjoys it. That makes it worth it
@@alphawhiskyadventures thanks for watching. Getting the kiddos to experience adventure is important. I’ll check out your channel.
Wow ❤ Garry sounds like hes 5 lol😂
ofc this is a joke😂
Lil tullybes lol

Bigger fish just past Selkirk.
I agree, you should hit CIL road next time.
@@gordjohnson70 thanks for the insight
Quality time with the kids, fantastic! Double header twice. The kids show you how it's done. Love the "off shore" lunch as well.
@@timothybyers thanks for watching!
Garry in a t-shirt wow! hes still a furnace
Wow you guys should take me next time 😅
Its ok if not cause its more of a family thing
@@MimiandMomo520 there is lots of winter yet, we can try to make it happen
I'm enjoying your channel. You guys fish in a lot of the same places I do.
@@maintuning thanks for watching im glad you are enjoying the channel maybe see you out fishing one day
@@forstersoutdoors If I see you guys, I will walk over and say hi !
Yes agree I tell ya
All you needed was the sardines to complete the "Surf and Turf". Nice set-up for the cooking.
@@timothybyers sardines are on the ice fishing list now. Thanks.
Do you sell them?
Happy new year. A few viewers have asked. I do not sell them right now I only have time to make for personal use sorry. Thanks for reaching out
Awesome lures. Congrats. I'm totally sure that they'll be devastating on amazonian peacock bass.
Fresh out of the can ...that lunch looked mighty fine I tell ya.
A tool that will greatly help is a boobin for the thread. They can be bought at fly shops. And buy some fly tying thread.
@@dmm3124 hi, yes familiar with a bobbin. I use them when I tie smaller lures or treble hooks. I am using the thread in the vid because I have miles of it. Thanks for the tip and thanks for watching.
Get a bobbin and some spools of tying thread it'll make it some much easier tying materials on.
@@Three_Rivers_Adventure thanks for the tip, what thread do you use?
wow so cool
so excited
Only -7°C ??? 😂😂But you dressed as if it were -30°C.
@@jucamvil Welp I guess you could look at it that way. I take my gear incase I need it. Thanks for watching.
There is nothing cheep about tieing up my own fly's damn is not good for the average guy trying to make it. After the last 5 years has been junk for fishing stuff. $20 each buck tail as $100 down the drain this days. Damn make the Chinese to make them is the same price point or cheeper to buy then make this day's. A hand tried musky lure is $25 up this days for a flashabu.
@@jasonlopez4855 fishing is an expensive hobby. But making your own lures you get them the way you want them. Thanks for watching.
Thick enough for a snowmobile yet ?
@@dionpeterson626 Hi, the ice was about 8”. There were a few snowmobiles out but I didn’t take mine because I wasn’t sure. It’s early, don’t take my word for it, check the ice for your own safety. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Idk where the fuck you're buying buck tails for 30$ a piece but you're getting ripped off. Jstockard has em 7.99 a piece
Thanks for the tips , great looking lures
Nice how about a blunt with that Scotch. Relaxing 😌 time.
@@jasonlopez4855 thanks for watching

Hey Phil you excited for the hot pot from Ruoxi
Very excited!
Great video, was wondering if you make and sell the wire bending jig, let me know please
@@francocasarcia1642 hi and thanks for watching the video. Presently i do not plan to make and sell jigs, sorry.
Nice work
@@blackout7615 thanks for watching
The thread is good is necklace tieing thread it works great. Comes in different colors and sizes is just strange for teeth fish. The regular I had to put a lot and still don't last long enough.
@@jasonlopez4855 great suggestion. Thanks for watching
Hey great video from Ruoxi ❤ You guys did so well this year excited for next yeae ❤
That’s crazy and must be expensive
@@drloomis7260 thanks for watching. Yes it’s expensive but we have fun with it. Safe place for kiddos.
That’s a pickrel or walleye
@@JesterPester48 yes, its a walleye, or locally a pickerel but in Lake Winnipeg the walleye get a very light green color on their backs so they have been given the nic name greenbacks. The walleye in the Red River that feeds Lake Winnipeg are the more typical gold with dark back. In the fall the lake walleye “greenbacks” come into the river.
I will have to get there some day.....nice job.
@@thewildnorthnetley3054 thanks for watching. It’s a fun spot in May June and Aug sept. It can be unpredictable but also it can really pay off. Pike walleye catfish and carp are common in the river. Walleye are at the mouth of the river, pike throughout and on the lake. Icelandic River in Riverton MB.
Great! Awesome day!
What did you use for bait

Keep that original plan in the bank ...would love to see it.
@@thewildnorthnetley3054 thanks. Did it a couple of years ago. My then 9 year old caught a 45 inch pike trolling rapala super Shad’s. Absolute chaos. It’s in my video list. Cheers!
Nice video ❤
@@MimiandMomo520 thanks!
I guess the kid was the guide? Let him pull them in.
@@timothybyers hahahaha. Yeah ok. Not knowing the situation, he is content not reeling the really big ones and quite happy to be the trusty net man. I get it, assuming selfishness. Thanks.
Is there a dock at EOM? Sorry i havent been there during summer time. Only fished breezy point on shore and ice fishing in winter. Thank you
@@earlreinier_ hi no dock at EOM and the boat ramp is not maintained very well if at all.
Lovely

LOL thanks, some people may want to see it. Thanks for watching.
Another great video and I like the drive in
@@andrewforster4974 thanks for watching. It’s a fun drive in.
That looks more like the Red River .
Assiniboine River in Winnipeg by the perimeter highway and Oxbow Bend Road. Thanks for watching!
you need a bigger net. it's a nice clear video. makes me feel like i am sitting right there with you. it's nice you can take the kids out. that's 90 percent of the fun.
Thanks for watching and thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it.
Looks like some interesting waters.
Hi thanks for watching. It’s a small river that enters Lake Winnipeg just north of sandy bar in Riverton. Our promised land. It’s a great place for my kiddos, not too busy and a good chance of catching some bigger fish. My kids like to cast for pike. This year with the low lake level it’s really not great but normal years spring and fall can be good with some walleye as well. It will choke with weeds in the coming weeks being so shallow
Nice!
Where is this?
Hi, thanks for watching. This is in Ste Agathe Manitoba on the Red River.
From Ruoxi
Nice video ❤
Thanks to the expert with the camera!
I was wondering about how much debris there was looks like it was pretty bad.
Hi, thanks for watching. This was Friday may 10. It was much worse once we were actually trying to boat into it. It’s a stretch of the river i am very familiar with and we weren’t going far. Otherwise I would have turned back. Not sure what it was like North of the city over the weekend.
