      Better to ambush something *with a tiger* !Yet obviously not another tiger!
      And my grandad proved that it's entirely possible!He owned a Siberian tiger Neron since his 3 months old till the end of his life 19 years later and actually taught him to hunt for prey!Which they regularly did together since his 2 years of age when he got "graduated"!
      By the way that is absolutely true that their first kill becomes their favourite meal and toys!In case of Neron those were rabbits and bunnies,because his training course started with them!So for his entire life he used to roam their property and was allowed 24/7 in and out of the house where they lived,yet no matter what he was doing and where he was-it was impossible to sneak in with a live rabbit without seeing his face and paws popping up over the fence with an expression of the cat from Shrek and desperately meowing waiting for the new toy to catch and disassemble alive!

    Yes, that feeling he describes of feeling the ground and in his stomach from what I've read is one of the Tiger's special gifts, and that is their growl and roar actually paralyze its victims, the sound is at a frequency that is elementally frightening. Even professional handlers dealing with caged Tigers are caught off guard by the sounds automatically, you don't have control over your response to a Tigers' roars, it stops yolu in your tracks and frightens any creature that hears it

    I have seen a video where a pissed off Tiger jumps and attacks a man sitting on a big Elephant. The guy was lucky to come out of that ordeal hurt(I think he lost a few fingers when the Tiger took a swipe at him) but still he lived to tell his tale.
    The Tiger demands respect and it could easily have killed 10 people or more from this safari before anybody had time even to react. These guys are really lucky (and stupid) to go near this magnificent beast. Never mess with the Tiger. What if somebody fell of this open jeep when the driver took off abruptly ? They will then name the Tiger maneater and kill it.

    Well that attitude is a problem. You believe yourself to be separate from the tiger's world but that's not how the tiger sees it. And when tigers are around you, you wanna be absolutely sure you at least know their point of view.
    That first one's "saunter" as you called it shoulda been your first warning sign you were doing something wrong. She had been watching you, knew that you were watching her, and walking like that right across your path was a very deliberate statement on her part that she was not afraid of you, and that she thought you should be more afraid of her.

      Frame Counting No, they didn’t. In fact lion roars throughout all of media, not just in the Lion King, are almost always actually Tiger Roars, for the exact opposite reason presented above. Lion roars aren’t intimidating enough. Lion roars carry a further distance which makes sense because they live in prides, so they use their roar for communication with their Pride members when they’re a little bit away from the gathering. Tiger’s are mostly solitary meaning they live alone. When I Tiger roars it can only mean two things: Fuck off, or fuck around and find out. They’re made for immediate intimidation.

      What’s a Lion gonna have to do if people ambush it? If it’s not alone they’ll have pride members join and fight. Tigers are alone. So if a potential threat is present, the Tiger needs to either eliminate that threat or move away from it. That’s my thoughts. I think Lions have a bit more confidence due to the fact that they often have buddies to back them up, Tiger’s only have themselves to depend on.

    • @yas96225
      @yas96225 6 лет назад +10

      I know they are protected, but typically man-eating animals are shot to make sure it's not becoming a habit and eventually even passed on to offspring. If a mountain lion attacks a human in the US, he'll get tracked down and shot. And they shoot every mountain lion in the region and DNA-test until they have the right one. As a result, there are virtually no mountain lion attacks even though there is a very healthy population. Isn't there something similar in India?
