And, of course, any job goes smoother when you have a snappy soundtrack in the background! But seriously, thanks for the video. I wasn't sure how the glazing bead snapped in and I didn't want it to snap(as in break) coming out. Probably will just because their old though, but you have a link for replacement, so I'm covered.

Just to make everybody smarter the old dries out plastic seal in really life breaks and never comes out hole. Found that a flush saw will go in and cut bulk of plastic out in seconds then take a print tool I used a hookto skim out small amount on edge of glass because I didn't replace all the class just the plactic needing. Works great

Can't one just replace these glazer strips by popping them in? I have aluiminum frame windows which were installed in 1960 and some have popped out due to elements or pressure washing. I notice the strips which are in place now are brittle, but behind that each glass has some dark color adhesive which (i suppose) holds glass in place.
    Thanks.

If your insulated glass doesn't need to be replaced, then yes. The snap-in glazing is a fairly straight forward installation.

Seems straight forward. I’m trying to replace the glazing. I got the exact size and shape of what’s currently in the window but it’s not snapping into place. It just sits loose.
Starting to think it’s time to call a professional. ☹️

what kinda of caulk are you using? Seems like an important facet left out of the video.

We use a latex-based transparent caulk in this video.
