Just got to be happy with a NGD. I bought one off Facebook marketplace earlier this year for a very good price. The stock pickups sound really nice on mine and yours so will be interested to see how the Texas Specials match up to them.
@@victormaskell8119 the pickguard with the Texas Specials I show in the video, is from a 2013 Squier Classic Vibe 😁 BUT.. I have installed a loaded Fender pickguard from a Vintera 60s Strat on the 2013 Squier Classic Vibe. And it did fit.

Tuners work great. It’s always everything else that gets guitars out of tune like: the nut, strings, neck movement in different temperatures and humidity.
By the way. That Volbeat shirt is cool.. I saw them here in Finland before they were really big. they were on the smaller stage and were amazing. it was that tour where the drummer started the show. had the shirt too

Yes, the stock pickups sounds great, and I'm really just replacing them because I have the Texas Specials lying around 🙂

I installed Fender custom shop Texas Special pickups in it, so the covers fit perfectly.
So the pickup covers actually wouldn't fit on the Squier pickups? Some say they fit. What would you say? 🤔🙏🙃
