The newer edition is improved. I have no prob with either language though I have the english edition. It's a game that's very fun to watch. Like a story unfolding. I'm not sure I prefer it over Age of Napoleon though. AoN may be a bit simplistic for most grognards but it is very very good for the difficulty level it is at. The thing I like about NaE is the scope and the fact it includes a bit more 'army combat'. On a sidenote I heard good things about 'Beyond Waterloo'. Another Napoleonic Grand Strategy one that speculates how things might go after French victory at Waterloo. In fact... you might not even end up fighting Waterloo! And combat is a bit of a mini game. For Nappy though I suspect my favourites are Age of Napoleon, Field Commander Napoleon, the Napoleon 20 system (Fading Glory) and "Waterloo: Quelle Affaire!"

I'm truly fortunate to have him as my partner in this channel and a good friend, even though I still have to meet him in person. I hope to visit him someday in Canada. I don't know if you noticed, but the intro is now 1:30 long. I asked Dan to do the minute-and-a-half intro so he gets some practice, because most of the TV/Netflix shows nowadays have 1 1/2 -minute intros. Who knows, maybe someday I'll say, remember the good old days when I could afford a Pancaldi tune?... Thanks, Giles for appreciating his work.
