Written by Charles Kipps Jr., Walk Away From Love, was originally recorded by The Choice Four in 1975 and was included as an album track on their 1975 LP titled, The Choice Four. The group was from Washington, DC and worked with Van McCoy and Joe Cobb as principal songwriters and producers. David Ruffin's more uptempo version of, Walk Away From Love, was released in November of 1975 and ended up being a #1 hit in early 1976.
