It's a pretty well documented phenomenon. Partners and Roommates are often unaware of what goes on when they're out of the house -- giving each one the impression that they are doing 'Most of the Work.' Also, a single chore can seem like more work to one or the other person, which also makes the 'balance' hard to calculate. Keeping tabs about how you both feel about the chores is super important. A WHOLE lot of long term resentment can get stored up on on these kinds of issues.
I feel this! I do most work in my house also, however, I feel for Meg because I also have ADHD and I'm really bad about picking up after myself and organizing. I need a class!

I feel like most people who struggle with tasks feel bad about it but still can’t do the task which just creates a bigger problem of beating yourself up constantly but not being able to do anything about it and they’d much rather be able to do the things they’re struggling with than use their diagnosis as an excuse to get out of things. In fact a lot of people who have this problem feel like they’re faking even when it’s very real so I find it odd that you would say that. Some people with the same diagnosis struggle more than others and need more help.

So much shame that a lot of people suffering from ADHD develop RSD (Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria). Do some research on how hard it actually is having ADHD especially as an adult before making ignorant comments.

He was in his Early twenties when I met him. So he never once took care of himself. We always got in fights because he never pitched in but always talked about wanted us to be equals and share all the responsibilities. But he never did anything but played video games and watch stuff on his phone and iPad. If I took time to myself to do that he'd be all over me about it. Then put baby came and it got worse, on top of him never helping feed, change or bathe our child. But he always puts in all on me. It's the way his mom raised him. She also talked crap about me and his brothers wives behind the back and he would always talk the crap with her.
Nah Jack is smitten right now. Some years down the line and the 20s become 30s thus shit won’t be ok. He has to joke because she will get pissed if he does not. There is a compromise and seeing how she went STRAIGHT to victim with no hesitation let’s me know that some aspects of her ADHD worsened due to lack of accountability and mfs enabling it. She’s an adult. I’ll chalk a lot of this up to her being I think like 24-25, especially after she had him basically on an ambush video asking him why he dumped her YEARS ago and they are now married. She got mad about it again too. I hope this evens out eventually
