I love all of it! However, this is why I love Warwick so much more than Spector. Josh, you're the reason I've got Bubinga Corvette eventually. Justice full album playthrough is unbeatable!
Fucking crazy, if there were more full album covers with the quality of this one... the world would be a much better place. Congratulations for the talent (both for the technique, the sound, and even the image).
This is absolutely badass! Vulgar Display Of Power and Rex's playing on it was a big influence on me wanting to pickup the bass guitar. KIller tone on every track with the Spector through that GK head. Josh's playing was immense, now I got to go and practice.......
The releasing of anger can better any medicine under the sun. Hell yeah brother amazing cover, amazing album, amazing tone, amazing playing. 10/10 vid you got my sub
I used to be in a band that played this whole album. When I saw this, I thought, "Oh cool! I get to watch someone else do it." So I'm watching and... "Oh, I did that part wrong. Oh man, I didn't even play that part. SH/T! That's not how I did it. I don't know if I really want to watch this." 🤣
Remember active EMGs being labelled as bland, boring, character lacking and generally uninspiring modern fad? Now they are 30 year old, vintage, instantly recognizable metal bass tone machines of the 90s. Crazy!
Speaking only for myself, but I saw bassists as more accepting of the EMG's vs guitar players; unless they were tone chasing high gain sounds. Weirdly, however, I see more guitarists accepting of the Fishman Fluence system than bassists are. I don't have any experienced with Fishman, but I would think if the sound sculpting capabilities are similar, (bass vs guitar) it would almost be a no-brainer.
@michaellorenz7177 very true around where I was. Every Bass player had EMGs. But we did all pretty much play metal or just metal version of other songs back then. 😂 good times.
Thx boys!! I’m Honored & Flattered…Much Love!!
Legend!!
Thank you so much Rex!🤘🏼😅
You’re the man, Rex! 🤘🏻
@@Gallien-KruegerYou're a legend too, I got one of your old 1x15 cabs with an evm15 and it rocks
You're an absolute monster of an influence! Thank you for decades of great music.

Vulgar Display of Josh
pantera fans know the tracks to this record guy. we dont need a helping hand. pff smh lol
@@adamjay2ndwardshut the fuck up and just thank the guy. Y'all Pantera's fans are such jerks
Vulgar display of bass
"Bass. Bass. Bass. Bass..."
Rex never got the credit he deserves. One of the best!
Rex is in my 5 all time Bass Goats. My personal preference nevertheless I enjoy Pantera so much cause of his feel.
Every time I need a reminder that I suck at bass, I watch one of Josh's covers.
BASSed
You are right 😂😂😂
That tone is so sick.
This guy seems like he gives good hugs.
Just frigging coooollll🤟🏻
Definitely some of Rex’s best playing, dude is still a fucking beast
sad he play with a pick.....take less skill
@@sebg2086 It doesn’t matter whether or not he uses a pick, it’s about what fits the music and picks give you more attack on your sound
@@sebg2086 Playing with a pick is just as hard, if not even more difficult.
@@sebg2086 this is the least rock and roll thing i've ever read.
@@BassRacerx u didnt read much...... must be a pick player
21:56 the first bass cover of this i’ve ever seen. amazing.
Grooviest metal band ever. What an outstanding mash up of southern groove with metal happened in Arlington, Texas
Just saw Josh in a thumbnail on main page and already knew it will be great. Never fails to deliver.
very good congratulations, I need to listen to pantera far beyond driven full
The absolute best shit is the Spector GK combo! Holy shit!!!!! The TOANZ!!!!
🤘🤘🤘🤘
It's great to see you use that Spector!! I just bought the 5 string MS version! Same color as that one!
I love all of it! However, this is why I love Warwick so much more than Spector. Josh, you're the reason I've got Bubinga Corvette eventually. Justice full album playthrough is unbeatable!

this dude and his bass tone... and his playing... just magnificent 🤘
Smooth bass😊😊😊😊
Was only going to watch Mouth for War....stayed for the whole thing. 😮
Same here dude!!
The Beasst covering The Beast.
My right hand cramped up just watching Josh play F'N Hostile. I'm getting old.
yeah what was that picking?!
Cant beat the GK growl! Amazing performance.
🤘🤘🤘🤘
This is perfection, and on top of that, every song was played effortlessly. Rex would be really proud. Lars is probably not happy with this, though.
He’s already issued a cease and desist order
I love this!!!!!! And I love that bass. Nothing like a Spector. I know people say Warwick is similar but I’ll take the Spector all day. 💪💪💪💪💪
Show muito top o bass the pantera é heavy total
Awesome
Another killer video! You guys absolutely nail these tones with the Fusion 800S and NEO IV 410! Can't wait for the next one 🤘🤘🤘
The Midnight Purple is beautiful 💜💜

Rex's style seems really fun to play tbh...just groovy AF and aggressive. Shout out to rex for his contribution to music! Rock on!

I love how this video jumps right into him playing!! 👏🏻
That was awesome.
졸라 맛깔나게 잘 치네. 톤이 넘실넘실 거리네. 음악에 달라붙을 정도로 끈적거리네.
Josh, you are one of the best bassists in the world!
my favourite bass player !!! top⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡
Hands down, this is the bass master!
Liked before I watch. I just know it will be epic.
Josh is amazing as always and the tone, damn. Can't wait for Far Beyond Driven.
Really came into its own by This Love. Felt a little lost in the mix prior but you nailed it here
Everything about this video is sick. Camera work is next level
This just made my day. Rock on brother!!!
SICK!!!
Pantera was my first metal school on bass..played all these songs too 😅
Best rock bass ever, nice work bro 🤟🏼
Dude. So cool to see Pantera played with fingers. I'm sure you could play Maiden in your sleep

Great job man! 👏🏼 awesome 🤘🏻
As always awesome covers man 🤘😈I 🤘🎸
Great showcase of Spector basses being used for metal.
Spector was the bass of the 90s. Between Pantera, Metallica, and AIC it was everywhere.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can’t wait to have a crack at these. Love Phil & Co
Josh is cool... No Doubt🤘
He plays heavy metal on fingers without dropping a drop of sweat.
Real 🐐

Remember active EMGs being labelled as bland, boring, character lacking and generally uninspiring modern fad? Now they are 30 year old, vintage, instantly recognizable metal bass tone machines of the 90s. Crazy!
Yuuuuuup. 90's PJ Spectors had some of the best and usable metal/rock tones. They went on to accomplish the same feat with the EMG humbuckers.
Speaking only for myself, but I saw bassists as more accepting of the EMG's vs guitar players; unless they were tone chasing high gain sounds. Weirdly, however, I see more guitarists accepting of the Fishman Fluence system than bassists are. Ffwded to see you play regular people conceit. Well done. I struggle keeping that one punchy. 🤘👍🍻
I didn't think it was possible to make this album heavier.... I was grossly wrong.
