absolutely loving my unagi e500 escooter. took my time to choose the best for me. it's the older model than shown here, but I basically chose it because of light weight, 1-click folding, AND power. It's under-rated for it's hill climbing ability for it's class.
@@Illisil I got mine rather quickly but I returned it two months later because it was such a rough ride and I think the tires are too small and they are solid tires so there’s absolutely no shock absorbing you, besides I fell once trying to go over the dip at the entrance to my driveway and almost broke my wrist
I just subscribed for the Voyager, The reasons were,My San Francisco Hill climbing abilities,The styling and the dual motors. One other nice thing about the Voyager is the sick cobalt blue color! It's a no brainer color choice.Peace

I honestly wanted to impulse rent one of these so that I can go to cities and explore via scooter for the Summer. with the Memorial Day deal I might just.
I put in the order to rent one kinda on impulse on Thursday night. Starting a new job soon where I have to catch the subway and another bus to go a mile to my new job. I live in Philly and the buses in that part of the city are unreliable so I figured why not try out the electric scooter for that last mile to work.
@@lydiaking322 as you should! This scooter sounds like a good idea for you. I honestly put my order in for one last night! I got it because I want to be able to ride a scooter to parks so that I can smoke in them.
It's so disappointing they didn't do something to improve the ride. I rented one in Austin and felt it was downright dangerous in certain situations that my e-TWOW Booster V isn't.
Reminds me of the scooter i use, the Swagtron 1, but has bigger tires (5 inches) and a little more speed and distance. Its nice having that compact design, really i hope e scooter technology is like smartphones: make it better range and speed in a smaller package. Even on a full charge the top speed on my swagtron couldnt break 20 mph, this one did and it has larger wheels
NEVER RENT THEIR SCOOTERS-THEY CAN KILL YOU. My gf rented the best model a few months ago, and I noticed that the stem was pretty shaky because of the folding mechanism. Yes, I know it’s a refurbished scooter for rental for over $70 a month. But, despite of the fact that I had been owning my own escooter for about 4 years, I was extremely scared when I drove her scooter because the handle was very shaky and there was not any shock absorption at all. The tiny tires are only hard plastic, which let me feel extremely uncomfortable even on roads without any bumps. I had tried my best to persuade my gf to return this dangerous scooter and buy one with much more comfortable while driving. Unfortunately, she just liked how slick it looked like and eventually, she fell very badly while riding it even on a clean road because she was losing control in a very short time due to the shaky stem of the poorly manufactured Unagi scooter, and she had to go to an ER by an Ambulance, and since the accident, she’s been staying in ICU for days. I was seeing how she fell even when she was driving very straight, and now I want to warn whoever takes Unagi rental scooters. Dear Unagi, Please make a safe electric scooter, or do not discriminate the rental users. This is related to people’s lives. Your products can kill people even when they are driving as safely as possible.
Steer away. Unless you are renting and have separate lanes for bikes and scooters, this thing is a hazard waiting to happen. Learned it the hard way. Absolutely ridiculous they still aren't putting shocks on these.
I had a model one. It was a death trap. I fell and broke my ribs, , ride is rough and the deck snapped in half. It does look great and has amazing acceleration. But not for beginners
Incredible review of our new Unagi Model One Voyager scooter! The Unagi Voyager is a game-changer: 'The Unagi Model One Voyager is an outstanding electric scooter that offers a smooth and powerful ride, combined with a sleek design that turns heads wherever you go.' Thanks Electrek!! 🛴
I was bored so I went to their website. This video was posted 4 months ago and the price is now $1490. And they don’t ship until… March 2024. I guess they don’t even want to sell these just rent them. I thought the price said in the video was crazy, but $1490’s absolutely insane lol. And you won’t even get it for 6 months? Double lol. I almost want to rent one for a few months to test it out. I have a Wolf King GT Pro, which is a blast but it’s so big and heavy and this would be a nice small scooter when I don’t need to go far or fast. But they require either $5 a month for theft insurance, or a $300 deposit you get back when you return the scooter. That’s fine, but if it actually gets stolen you’re still on the hook for a $300 deductible? Triple lols That’s $888 a year, and you don’t ever own it, at least I don’t see any thing about it becoming yours after 2 years or something. This company’s something else for sure.
I just got mine yesterday, renting it. At the moment, I'd say it's a great scooter if you're looking specifically for lightweight and portability, and it's definitely got enough power to easily climb hills and whatnot. But comfort is really non-existent with this scooter, tires are too small, the hollow design doesn't do much for shock absorption either. At the time I purchased it, it did say there might be an option to purchase the scooter after 6 months, which also happens to be the minimum term for the subscription offer I purchased (came with two months free). So Unagi is clearly considering the option of a rent-to-own type of thing
Lightweight, folding design, but no carrying handle. Lightweight, folding design, but handlebars can't fold in. It's ALMOST there as "the iPhone of commuter scooters" but they gotta make the handle bars fold in if they want to compete with e-twow with being the most portable and lightweight and scooter than can climb hills.
Garbage company and scooter. The company sends you used and broken scooters. They did this to me 3 times. I will never buy from them again worst scooter you can buy.
@@Illisil I bought mine unfortunately. Customer service is hard to get a hold of and they are hard to work with. This company is no good all around. This is based on my horrible experiences with them.
It’s garbage. If you wish to use it to commute. My work is less than 8km from my home. The first one just broke less than 6 months. Then I contacted them and they gave me a refurbished one. That one lasted about 7 months. I bought it thought it had good quality, because taking all the specs in consideration, this brand is under average, the range, the charging time, the comfort etc. turned out it’s a waste of money. Don’t buy!
Micah, it never ceases to amaze me how much content you put out on e-vehicles. Thank you.

Who prefer Navee s65 or S65c over unagi scooter?
Some people prefer cheap electric scooters like Aovopro from $300.00 to $400.00 USD over this expensive unagi scooter. This is not worth it.
I have a hover one journey 2.0 and this. The hover one was $299 and is far more fun than this thing lmfao
