  • I was looking to change up the sound of my car, so I switched from 3" StainlessWorks Retro catback to 3" MBRP race system. I compare idle, rev and drive-by sounds, so let me know in the comments which sound you prefer.
The car has American Racing 1 7/8' Longtube headers and 3" catted X pipe.

Im betting the mbrp is actually way more rowdy in person. Probably just the limits of youtube/speakers haha. My twin turbo’d 5.0 sounded nuts 3” dual straight pipes, but the videos its pretty tame haha.

MBRP sounds a little more sedate and “grown up” where as the SW seems way more rowdy. I think long term the MBRP will draw less unwanted attention and be less intrusive but man the SW sounds like its wants to party.

Mbrp warned me it was going to be loud, but it doesn't seem any louder than the stainless works...you really need to hear it with a sub woofer to hear the bass of the mbrp.
