My major problem is to know if this will work on other languages besides English. I can’t speak with siri on my native language- Portuguese, from Portugal .
Exactly, Most LLMs can handle 30+ languages, yet Apple will only cater to US English at launch. Classic Apple move, right? (they're really behind the times) smh.
1. There will be the new iPhone 16 series with full AI support, both standard and Pro. 2. iPads with M1, M2, M4 chips are also supported. 3. ALL Apple Silicon Macs will get it!
I can’t wait to experience Apple Intelligence! You mentioned no Apple Intelligence features on Apple Watch, but I'm curious if the same lineup-wide changes to Siri are also coming to Watch. I’m guessing yes. What do you think?
WWDC is a developer-focused event. Throughout the week devs get sessions, meetups, virtual meetings, and a whole slew of others. From a user’s perspective Monday’s keynote was all there is to know
0:37 I guarantee you that in September, they would release a new Apple Watch Ultra and only on the ultra would have a pro chip on it that would allow Siri to talk with Apple intelligence. Apple will make it where you have to purchase the ultra or the new revamped X model that has been promised for a while now to be able to use app intelligence.
@@tdrg_ which is why I said they will make a custom or pro chip for the new Apple watch ultra or the new promised redesign Apple watch that would allow it to have Apple intelligence on it.
Yeah.. Apple-solutely ridiculous.. Apple touts their chips basically since the a12 with “machine learning” the fact that they won’t give users with iPhones 12 and above a few new AI features is wild…
@@Patty100ish the sheer computational power required to run these models locally is huge, power which pre-A17 Pro chipsets do not have. (A17 Pro has ~40 TOPS, A16 has ~15 TOPS). Not even mentioning RAM limitations. Apple Intelligence works with a lot of sensitive user data, “personal context”, therefore it’s irresponsible to offset all that data on a server somewhere. This is why I think they insist on keeping it on-device.
35 for the 17, 15ish for the 16, still given the M1 is a bottom feeder in this consideration then why 🤷♂️ Because they skimped on ram and chips in this arena? After after all the same era 14pro competition brands say a Snap 8+ Gen1 with 27TOPS and 12GB ram seems a huge difference in the same time period.. Good marketing for upgrades but
It’s in beta. By the time it’s released for everyone there will be a considerable number of users with the 15 Pro, 16/16 Pro or even maybe 17 if it stays in beta for long
@@dbn165 Exactly, especially since Apple recently claimed that no other devices could run AI as well as their own. They've been adding neural engines to chip designs for years, but LLMs require a significant amount of RAM and older iPhones had limited memory. However, it's possible to split LLMs into smaller fractions to make them more efficient on lower-end hardware. This leads me to believe that Apple deliberately limited AI capabilities for A17 Pro models, rather than the other devices like iPhone 12/13/14 being unable to run them. Of course, they're a business looking to sell more products, but it seems unfair to leave behind modern devices that could still execute these functions, albeit with some limitations.

Apple's working on it may be next year

Your's is the best summary and explanation of Apple's use of AI, even better than their keynote address to WWDC.
You forgot to mention its only for 15 pro max and above lol. Glad i got mine

When does Apple intelligence come to the developers beta
can you explain wwdc day 2, 3, and 4? like is there any more big announcements coming cause today it was just a recap

This guy is an Apple hype machine
Apple fan? Yes. Apple hype machine? Not really.
I love "Super Siri!"
Ai aka Apple Intelligence changes everything.
so i have ios 18 and i cant find the genmoji feature is it not there yet ?
Not there yet, will come in September I guess
Don't you think this will lead to a big security breach because all our data will be accessed by OpenAI to give such granular recommendations?
I’m so sad that they don’t put the AI to iPhone 15
Will the emoji work between apple and android
Hi but i dind’t get on my 15pro max why?
I can’t wait for it I am looking forward to it and keep making more videos
Wow love the update can’t wait till it come to apple iPhone
Can’t wait for the emoji’s I love emoji’s 😍🥰
It can search your photos and find your iD number??? now that I wanna see
Will the Siri update come to regular iPhone 15
new ai only on a17 pro chip so idk
@@Jamespillows2044 so then the rest of the iphones will remain with the old siri???

Apple say you have to buy the news phone otherwise you dont enjoy your AI
By the time it’s out of beta there will be enough users with 15 Pro, 16 , maybe even 17
