He caught my eye very early on one of my fave pitchers in the game.What's crazy is typically this type of pitcher is a jacked huge guy.Also typically the top end pitchers have movement on their fastball but he doesn't so he defies a lot of what makes a great pitcher.What he does have seems to be great command of his pitches and that matters a lot.

As a Yankees fan, I had to come check this guy out, because there are rumors the Yanks could trade for him. He looks pretty damn good, so that tells me the Yankees won't trade for him, and hoard all of our overhyped prospects, like Oswald Peraza. I'm SO pumped,for the season to start, having the legendary Clarke Schmidt, as our fifth starter! woo-hoo! Maybe Billy Beane Cashman can find a few more players on the waiver wire, to round out the pitching staff.

Against the batting leader, Luis Arraez, no less. Too bad Miguel Cairo didn't order him intentionally walked. That way he takes the bat out of his hand, the next batter probably makes the final out, and Cease has his no hitter.
