Thoroughly enjoyed your Western Creek adventure. Looks like you were digging in a few mullock piles, though. Yet some great pickers and nuggets for both of you! When you reach 2000 subs shout yourselves a couple of prospecting pin pointers. Minelab and Gold Rat have some good ones. And often a smaller coil can help. Would love for you guys head over to Palmer River area.
@joannagrimmer Hi Joanna, thank you for you kind words. We were so happy to find a few pieces of gold. We have had an interrupted start to prospecting at Palmerville due to back burning 🔥. We will start again on Monday. Hopefully we will manage to find some nice bits. 😊😊😊
Good to see you both got some gold out there. What I had found out there was flat gold. Not rounded. Where to now, across the grid to flats creek. Or up to Palmerville?
@@ohmygold-traveladventures8530 Thanks for the info. Think they have a season ticket. $2400 for early bird purchase at start of year or $3000 if paying later. If you a find a way to pm me I may have some useful info for you.
Good effort both of you and a nice tally at the end of your trip well done.
Thanks Steve, we do love Western Creek 😀

Good show! Just wondering is the 6 particular hard to pinpoint? 😊
@guyfitzgerald9730 Not really, I struggled with the small stuff but Marika nails it every time 🤣
Great video, keep them coming Paul 😢
@paulpurcell5658 Thanks Paul, our next stop is Palmerville Station 😊

@gavinrawlinson1830 Hey Gavin, we were forced to work the creeks and the gold came out nice and round - off to Palmerville Station next week.
@@ohmygold-traveladventures8530 have a safe drive up there. We will be up there in 6 weeks.
Nice to see you again in this video...
God luck and God Bless 🙏
Just wondering what they’re charging you to be there if you wouldn’t mind letting us all know. Thanks
It works out to be pretty good value. $10 pp for camping and $10 pp for detecting. I think they may have a weekly rate too. 😊

Nice. Why is the missus wearing steaks on her hands? 😁
@@DetectaBull because she has boots on her feet???🤣🤣🤣
How do you know the purity?
@@grahameroberts8109 we don't know the purity of the gold, Queensland gold never seems as pure as Victorian gold.
@@ohmygold-traveladventures8530 Thats not correct, Clermont has some of the most pure gold, period.
@Wayne-ux4sk You are correct Wayne, I forgot about Clermont. We have found most of our QLD gold around Georgetown which has high copper content. 👌
Could you not wash the scoop in a pan to see the colour?
@grahameroberts8109 Hi Graham, fair comment but we don't carry pans with us.
