Hi mate, Yes, I am a supporter of the Cowboys as well and have been since they first started. I was born and bred in Far North Queensland. Thanks for your support.
Great video. Yes it certainly is beautiful country up here. What coil is that you’re using and do you like it a lot ? Good size pieces of gold thank you for sharing. Enjoy 😊👍🏻
Thanks, Lozz, I am using a 9-inch Coiltek Goldhawk coil and have found a lot of gold with it. Easy to manoeuvre on banks, rocks, ect, but punches a good depth as well for a small coil.
You're very welcome, Gary. I am glad you were able to pick up some tips, buddy 😀 and thank you for your support. Feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions. Good luck hunting gold ✨️ 👍
@geoffmcewan8766 Thanks, Geoff, the country is a bit different from around your area, mate. A fair few obstacles to get around. I'm looking forward to catching up soon. 😃
Hi Grant, It was great to hear from you, and thank you for your support. As you are aware, you have to try everywhere out there as you never know where it will pop up. Thanks again, and good luck for next time you're out there. 😀
I've wanted to go to the West for a few years now, haven't got there yet but that place up there looks rugged but potentially a great spot to check out one day.
@Stormyday-zg7iz yes, it can be a little rugged in places, but the roads are well marked, and you receive a map of the station when you arrive. It is suited for 4x4
Hi atmm89, thanks for your support. The frees are as follows. Gold detecting + panning is permitted & for those interested there are also chiastolite’s to be found Prices : Detecting + camping - $20 per day or $100 per week per person Camping only - $10 per day per person - kids 12 years & younger stay for free
Definitely, mate, I don't want to cross on somebody's lease, and I find it good to mark my spot where I have found Gold so I can return next time. It also can indicate where gold is running if you find a patch. Hey, good luck out there, I miss it already and say hi to Shirlee and Brownie for me. Thanks for your subscription. I really appreciate your support.
yeah the Cow Boys!!! lived in townsville for 25 yers. very nice bits of gold well done

Live in Georgetown and after an almost 20 gram nugget haven’t had any luck. Any tips?
@@joec4958 are you detecting or panning?
@@Free2Roam24detecting, do you advise going to old mines or gullys ? Had a few donut days recently and it’s a bit demoralising
I do both, but this year, I had more success around the old mine sites.
@@Free2Roam24 thank you. Do you use the trilobite app for the old mines?
