Alan Weguelin, I've just started to play the piano in my 91st year. i have never tried before, and now with the help of Laura my music teacher and your excellent lessons I am playing 'Imagine' by john Lennon.
You are an Angel sent from heaven!! Your lessons are perfect you share exactly what the people want to hear an in depth lesson that teaches you without forcing the student hrs of unnecessary explanations about why it should be played a certain way!! Thank you Beautiful Lady!! ❤️❤️❤️
Cheers for you, sir. I thought it is quite late for self learning piano in my mid 30. If God blesses me with 60 more years I shall learn strings and sax❤
I have played guitar and bass my whole life I'm 66 years old and just decided to learn to play the piano. With your help itshould be a breeze, thank you so much for all you do.
For someone who loves to play the piano and sing along to it, you are a heaven sent to me, teacher! This song is the latest of the 4 songs I’ve already learned here. Thank you so much. 😌💖
So awesome, this lesson I completed “roughly” within 10-20mins with lyrics!!!! I love teachers like you who can teach depth along with hand the chords over quickly and clearly! Thanks
Hey Jude, don't make it bad. Take a sad song and make it better. Remember to let her into your heart, Then you can start to make it better. Hey Jude, don't be afraid. You were made to go out and get her. The minute you let her under your skin, Then you begin to make it better. And anytime you feel the pain, hey Jude, refrain, Don't carry the world upon your shoulders. For well you know that it's a fool who plays it cool By making his world a little colder. Hey Jude, don't let me down. You have found her, now go and get her. Remember to let her into your heart, Then you can start to make it better. So let it out and let it in, hey Jude, begin, You're waiting for someone to perform with. And don't you know that it's just you, hey Jude, you'll do, The movement you need is on your shoulder. Hey Jude, don't make it bad. Take a sad song and make it better. Remember to let her under your skin, Then you'll begin to make it Better better better better better better, oh. Na na na nananana, nannana, hey Jude
Thank you for breaking this down in your tutorial. I’ve always wanted to learn the nuances of the music. I am not a formally trained pianist, ( primary instrument is guitar along with some bass playing) I play by ear and I am also a visual learner as well… this helps me bring it all together.
I love your teaching methods, Excellent visuals, perfect oral directions and extraordinary patience! Thank you so much for helping me get past some tough spots that I have been struggling with, I am 80 years old and never had a music lesson in my life but I have some natural musical talent I guess. Played a little guitar, played a little trumpet and of course had basic music stuff in grade school learning the basics of music. All I really needed is someone like you to polish it off. I learned to play Imagine very well from the Birdman Tutorial but have been struggling with Hey Jude.
So many 'How to play ' videos on RUclips, but this was the best for me. Obviously this isn't what Paul plays, but I'm not up to that yet. Well, explained and put together. Thank you.
One of my favorite songs of The Beatles and I can play it now! All thanks to you Francesca!! You are very much appreciated!! Thank you for teaching us!!
Came here for another tutorial. I just finished a cover of 'Let it Be', using your tutorial and some Ableton for other instruments, Thank you! Next is this song.
Hey, thank you so much sis! Helped me a lot... I loved how you put together everything and I learnt it in 6 days (is that long?) because I dont have proper training just a beginner so thanks again! Hoping to see more! Enjoyed playing...
Very beautifully explained amazing tutorial loved it got to learn so many things and improve my piano skills slowly steadily getting there ...Thank you
Let me start my comment here. Highly appreciate your work. I am a real beginner. came across your channel and it helps me a lot. Thanks. continue to encourage!
Great explanation.. and once more I marvel at Paul McCartneys genius as I learn it .... wonderful tune... wonderful lesson. Many many Thanks. (Any chance you could continue on with a complete Beatles series of all their piano based tunes. ... you do this so well)
Everyone learns differently, I can’t make one video that will suit literally everyone. Many people who turn to RUclips to learn can’t read music. Learning a Mozart Sonata and Hey Jude accompaniment isn’t really comparable 😂
Hi. Just started to learn piano and loving it. Can you explain the F Major chord at the start of 1.14 ACE and playing ACF on the keyboard. Is the ACE another way of playing the F chord just a little confused? Thanks
It’s an inversion. Please watch this video and learn about them: ruclips.net/video/12Ujb4gCqjg/видео.html It’s an F major7 chord, I’m just playing the root note of F in the left hand, and the rest of the notes in the right.
I am desperate to learn That's Life by Frank Sinatra, this is an all time classic. I have been learning Hey Jude, Imagine and Yesterday also Let it Be on your site and you have a great method of teaching. Please I am desperate for that's Life. Thank You
Great tutorial. The only thing that confused me was that in the right hand only part, you play the C chord as a root triad but then when you play the chorus and verses after with both hands, you play an inversion of the chord
Ok, I think I understand now. The first C chord in each verse is played in root position because the C7 chord comes after which is really close to it, but the second C chord in each verse and the ones in the chorus are followed by the inverted F chord which is why you play the second inversion C chord (G-C-E) there
Hi I'm new to your channel and my first time posting a comment. I've watched several of your tutorials over the past week or so and I must say I have enjoyed them all and looking forward to many more of your tutorials in the future, one question though can I purchase the sheet music of your version of this tutorial ? ll
I have watched a number of videos on this site, but try as I might, I cannot access the chords and lyrics. Clicking the link takes me to the installer, which I then do, but I can get no further. Can anyone please advise? Thanks in advance.
I'm afraid I haven't yet made the sheet music for this (it doesn't specify in the description that I have!). I will always link in the description or comments when I've produced sheet music for a particular song.
Bitesize Piano ok! thanks for quick reply. Your tutorials are great. Super glad I stumbled upon your channel. I’m still in begging stages of my journey but I’ve had some major breakthroughs, particularly on while working on Let it Be thanks to you. So thanks.
Can someone clarify something for me , the first chord , is it not a A major ? I undestand that the major chords always starts with they root note , with a major 3rd and the the per 5th , but this weird 1:15 , cause is says is a f major , and its root is A , sooo help pleasee
It's an inversion chord which means the notes are in a different order. The root of the chord is actually F which is played in the left hand. Chords aren't always played in root position! Please watch my entire playlist on Chords!
