I can't believe you had Knight of Grace and Knight of Malice facing away from each other COME ON MAN STEP UP YOUR GAME! (great videos as always, love the new intro!!!!)
Thanks for doing these. This is great work and it's obvious you put a lot of work into this and you provide great insights. Here are some of my thoughts. You can potentially play Song of Freyalise and Torgaar or Rite of Belzenlok on turn 3. I'll never have the cards to make it happen, but I'll probably play a game where my opponent does. Tiana, Orcish Vandal, Sorcerer's Wand seems like fun if you can get all 3 on the board with a wizard. Don't think I will be drafting this deck but I might be forced into it in sealed. Maybe someone who streams will have the red/white draft with this potential. I think Blackblade Reforged goes in the green/white or green/red deck I think blue/green is card draw/ramp which is basically what it usually is. Draw more cards and have more mana to play the extra cards. I'm still not sold that 4 cmc sorcery speed destroy target creature is better than 5 cmc instant speed exile target creature or enchantment
Milling is super important. Taking away options or key cards the opponent is banking on is huge if you have enough ways to mill to make it a reliable mechanic.
Primeval's Glorious Rebirth has a lot of synergy with Sanctum Spirit. If you have the spirit, you can pitch all your legendary permanents to it before casting rebirth. That's a magical Christmasland scenario, but if you get there it'll feel pretty good. Also, I really dig the new intro.
red green seems pretty great for a pre release. with pre release you just want to make an aggro deck as not many people know the cards.you'll just end up killing them super fast or they will use up all of their removal by the time you get your bombs out! I usually run an aggro deck for these events mainly because of just how well they do!
Garna, the Bloodflame looks insane, allowing you to chump block your opponent, looking their most valuable creatures, then flash Garna in, return the creatures you lost to hand, untap, replay all of your killed creatures (as you will have at least 5-6 mana), and counter swing for an unexpected win.
I really like D'Avenant Trapper. It's no Territorial Hammerskull but in some instances where can you play multiple historic spells in a turn it could end up being better.
With Garna, if you have the First Eruption or Phyrexian Scriptures, you can play her on the turn they board wipe. It'll probably be game over now that you're ready to rebuild the board right after the board wipe.
In my opinion milling people in limited is always good, even if you are not trying to win the game by milling. All (good) limited players put a lot of consideration into each of their 23 or 24 non land cards they put in their deck, and if you can mill a few of them you have a good chance of getting rid of something they really wanted or needed. Great video as always.
It is very dangerous to think of milling in that way. It is completely random, so you never know if you what you milled is going to be a good card or bad card. So it is certainly not "always good." You could end up milling cards and letting your opponent draw their best card. That's just as likely as milling their best card.
A question about "Shana, Sisay's Legacy": Her power and toughness say 0/0, and she gets +1/+1 for each other creature in play. Doesn't that mean she enters as a 0-toughness-creature before her effect is activated, and is therefore immediately destroyed when she come into play? Usually, instead of a "0", these creatures had an "X" or a "*", and in the text box it said: "this creature's toughness is equal to..." just a thought I had. probably wrong, or else they would nothave printed it. or did I find out this mistake first?
You're right that is frequently something RB likes to do. Sadly, the only way to do that in this format is with Keldon Overseer, who you have to pay 7 mana for to steal something. So it might come up some, but it definitely isn't central to the deck.
No. From my knowledge you can only cast cards that were exiled with that specific copy of Rona. That means you can cast cards that were exiled with your Rona and your opponent can only cast cards that were exiled with his copy. Also good to know: If Rona leaves the battlefield for some reason and comes back later (e.g. because of Sentinel of the Pearl Trident) you cannot cast cards that were exiled with her before she left the battlefield. Maybe someone knows the exact rules that support what I just said, but it should be correct.
Just wanted to say thank you! I work 40+ hours a week and don’t have time to study everything. This guide let me play Arena and have fun!! Thanks!!!!
Always look forward to this video everytime a new set comes out. SUPER pumped for prerelease this weekend.
I can't believe you had Knight of Grace and Knight of Malice facing away from each other COME ON MAN STEP UP YOUR GAME! (great videos as always, love the new intro!!!!)
Came here for Dominaria archetypes, stayed for River Hoopoe in the snazzy new intro
Keep it up my dude!

Hey man, awesome new intro! Great vid as usual, Nizzahon.
I dig the new intro man good stuff.
BOLT THE BIRD

So happy to see a new intro! Nice work!
Just what I came to YT to find, thanks!

Exactly what I wanted to see to prime me on the set.
"Its a cruel thing to give such a sad song to such a colorful creature" . Hoopoe for the win !!

I love your stuff, thanks for helping make me a better Magic player!

Yeah she can definitely do powerful stuff.
BG Saprofice. :P
I really like D'Avenant Trapper. It's no Territorial Hammerskull but in some instances where can you play multiple historic spells in a turn it could end up being better.
Yeah it is a pretty nice card.

I played U/G with a Tetsuko/Saproling theme. It worked really well
Great info, and super sweet new intro! Good stuff Nizzahon, keep it up :)
woooow animated intro. nice
Great new intro. Just add a fade transition between it and the rest of the video and it'll fit perfectly.
I'm hoping I can get into BG Saproplings. Song of Freylise ramp into a kicked josu looks like a great game winner.
You'll definitely get there with it a few times in this format, has lots of nice stuff at common and uncommon.
These guides are super helpful, I may even win some games at my prerelease now haha
Good luck!
Nizzahon Magic undefeated at my prerelease and owe it all to these prep videos!
Yo that new intro is awesome

Yes, that is a good point.

just a thought I had. probably wrong, or else they would nothave printed it. or did I find out this mistake first?
She says "each creature" not "each other creature, so she is a 1/1 at worst.
Garna looks very interesting for a commander deck, less so for limited.
I think red also has a card that let's you take control for 1 turn of a creature from your oponent, that is always good with sacrifice
You're right that is frequently something RB likes to do. Sadly, the only way to do that in this format is with Keldon Overseer, who you have to pay 7 mana for to steal something. So it might come up some, but it definitely isn't central to the deck.
Would Auras on Tianna return to your hand when she dies being that they would all go to the yard at the same time?
Hey love the intro not crazy about the music but looks super cool :)
Love the new intro❤️
Love the new intro (especially the Hoopoe!), but shouldn't it be "top 10's"?
Not unless its possessive!
Nizzahon Magic guess I knew less than I thought, but at least I now know more than I did! :)
Sweet intro
Do you feel ready for pre-release yet?
New sub, great channel and content!
best archtype in your opinion? Green and black look wuite deep?
Hard to say without playing, but UR and BG both look pretty well supported.
"You may cast nonland cards exiled with Rona"
So if you and your opponent both have Rona... you can cast their spells?
No. From my knowledge you can only cast cards that were exiled with that specific copy of Rona. Dan L Correct fam. For reference you can see a ruling on this very matter in a match of LRR 's Pre-Prerelease
Wow, what an amazing intro!
Hoping to get the cards for a saproling deck during the prerelease!
Why is windgrace acolyte a CAT WARRIOR?!?
Because Windgrace was a Cat.
Also it is a cat (riding on the back of the flying creature).
Cool new intro!!! I like it a lot :-)
Love the new intro. #HoopoeRepresent
Great vid!
Thanks so much for the vid
Nice new intro
You won't be able to equip the elementals as they don't appear until combat step.
Good call.
Like the new intro :)
this is perfect
nice helping video!
Does it bother anyone else that he put Knight of Malice before Knight of Grace when talking about knights... ;)
You can actually slam Torgarr on three pretty easily.
u must really like river hoopa :o
crabforcommunism I think it is an inside joke.
There's no legendaries at common in Dominaria, why does everyone keep sayong that?
I dunno, I didn't know they were
Nizzahon Magic you said it too somewhere, probably a mistep. Still, thank you very much for this guide!
They forgot to put territorial allosaurus in ixalan so they just threw it in here
Haha there are a few dominaria dinos, though they were only recently switched to that type
Badmouthing Yargle??? Unsubscribed, disliked, blocked (jk obviously)
First ^^
Sweet intro
