@@TheDailyEgg Probably because they call when the dog is ready. No call = not ready. It's one heck of an assumption though. It's also braindead if you know that there's a dog that has been waiting to be picked up and someone calls twice, an hour apart. I've dealt with similar at the vet, except I was sitting in front of the front desk.
She calls twice while waiting nearby, and the receptionist says he's not ready only to say, "Where have you been? He's Been ready since 11?" That chick needs to be fired, bruhh. She can't even do her job to check for what dog the customer was looking for! Good job, Emily 👍
As someone who has worked front desk at places, I can say this front desk lady did so many things wrong. If they have waited for a long time and it's the second time they are asking, you need to get your butt up and check in the back. If someone isn't answering their phone about picking the dog up, then you check the notes and see what other numbers were provided, or ask your coworker if they were given any other number. It pains me so much seeing how lazy and bad attituded some workers get.
I have never seen a dog as limp and docile as Nabi. He's a Pomeranian right? I respect that Emily remained cordial the whole time despite the attitude from the assistant/desk clerk.
Either the patience, social anxiety/fear of confrontation, or a mix or the 2 is impressive. I would have walked in a long time ago instead of waiting in my car for 5 hours
I would of went full Karen on these people. The fact that they gave you attitude and tried to charge you extra. OHHH HELLLLL NOOO! Vets in general try to rip you off and use your love of your pet against you. They are the worst.
It sounds like Nabi came out and the receptionist realized Emily was right and she DIDN'T know what dog they were talking about the whole time lol
That's so annoying tho. Like why even assume and say the dog is not ready when you don't even know what dog is being talked about?

Nabi is part chicken part pomeranian
