Sorry but any r.c. that is this expensive shouldn't need upgrades right out of the box. 1500 dollars for these should be enough to have the best everything rtr.

No, you do not need to upgrade the model immediately. When there is some problem in the model or a part becomes breaks, then you can upgrade it in the after market and the quality of your model improves.

@hobbycentralindia countless videos of people breaking parts with minimal bashing says otherwise but OK. Just seems to me Traxxas is a parts hog and only wealthy people can maintain them.
