-If she likes me, I'll kiss her. -If she wasn't married, I wouldn't feel so guilty. Wo, this is the first time in my life I try to use the second conditional! I hope to have done correctly. Thank you!
Great explanation. If you want stop getting confused with tenses and conditionals, you have to learn them in comparison to each other. It really works!
You're great. It does not usually happen that I subscribe on the very first time I watch someone's video, but you are one of them. 👌🏼🙏 Everything was great about this video, very well prepared and you are a very good teacher + it was to the point.🌹
you're definitely the best teacher ever that Ive seen so far! every your video always makes sense!! if you lived in vietnam and organized an english class, I would absolutely join!!
Hi Aly, I really love your all lessons. I need your favour. I want you to explain 1. 'participle phrase' in sentences, like, how to start a sentence with a participle phrase, or how to use it properly. 2. Different styles to start a sentence in writing. Thanks.
Well...I was having a test about this...but it wasn't clear to me ..so I watched your classes ..and now it's clear to me .. Thumbs up to you Clap for yourself 😁😁
hello teacher!!! Your classes are awesome. Throughout the year I was watching your channel. I'm very grateful and I wish you and your family a merry Christmas and happy new year!!! bye
You're a great teacher! And, if you do a video about the future forms in English, I'll be very very happy! I never know when to use "will", "to be going to", "to be -ing".
If you did a video speaking entirely in an American accent, I'd fall out of my chair. If you continue to put up new videos, I will be extremely happy and grateful (thank you for feeding my addiction). I'm sharing this one!
Have you already covered 'will in if clause'? Not all the time, but it is to be heard every once in a while... And of course thanks a lot from Moscow for the lessons!
Love all your work! Straightforward and funny! Still, in your example (and in second conditionals), "came" can never be a past verb. As the situation is hypothetical, "came" (or any other verb used after "if" in second conditionals) is actually Present Subjunctive. Indeed, the form is the same with the past one, and sometimes it is better to tell students it is past, not to mess them up :). Hope you don't mind my little observation. Keep up the great work!
I have a question about the third conditional. I took a part in an English contest and there was this example: "Peter WOULDN'T BE in hospital now if he hadn't tried to swim in such cold water." And there's the problem I wrote WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN. Is it possible to use this form? Please let me know, thanks.
Great, funny and easy as always. You've got a talent, you know. And if you uploaded your lessons more often I'd know English much better 😉 but if you don't have time for this I won't be upset anyway 😏 thanks Aly
hi , it's the same rule if there's no 'if' ? example : ' i know a book that you will like ' vs ' i know a book that you would like ' which one is correct ? thanks.
This is a really good video but in our school lessons however, second conditions are used for likely possibilities as well, like: If he left at nine, he could be there before lunch./ If we didn't exercise and eat well, we would be unhealthy./ If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would go to Paris...etc. So if I show this video, it might confuse the students.
Hello Aly. Thank you so much for such nice and informative lessons. Would you mind filming a video about real british pronunciation? I'd like to know more about linking word, assimilation, elision(i understand it's just a disappearance, isn't it?) and things like that. Thank you. Merry Christmas)
Hey, I have a question. So, I after I graduate from school I plan to stay a year in England, best case would be London, because I want to study English later. I am from Germany, but I don't have the typical German accent when i speak English. You can hear that I am not a native speaker though. Do you think it is possible to get the British accent during a year?
thanks aly for making a new video at least ! 😓 recently you are not so active like before 🤔miss u ❤ this video is helpful like the others thank you again 😘
0:28 so, if we TALK(ED) about the possibility of rain today, then I WOULD use a first conditional. We were talking about that, totally possible. So, I guess, that was in your imagination. And what about polite forms?
