the part where Bungie says that the matchmaking changed I have heard in a planet destiny podcast. If I'm not mistaken the guys at PD have some contact with bungie. But I don't think that they changed any server, because the game is Per-to-Per, that means one player is a host where everyone connects to it. They just changed the matchmaking to connect players with the same skill level.But when IB falls...the host is always the one with dial-up internet.

+D Galel The damage wasn't nerfed. Tracking, travel speed and explosion size were nerfed, but the proxy detonation is the same. Basically, sometimes even when a hammer is going directly at someone's face it'll explode before getting close enough to kill them. (It happens more often if the opponent is moving away from you and especially if they're also in the air)
