I dont think this game has him as a legend but in the Draft sometimes they remove random people and put them in the free agency usually some big names are always left out of the draft like Cena,Edge and Orton. which makes them now show up in the draft. The Legends Roster never shows up in the draft but you can draft legends and free agents after you draft your roster.

Its insanely annoying, because you cannot make a big card and you are essentially supposed to draft a super tiny roster and have the same matches over and over again. Also since they added a dumb class system if you dont match up the right clases you get a boring match. Specially if you book the same classes against each other. Let alone than on top of that there is a face and heel modifier which makes your selection of who gets to wrestle who even smaller. Makes sense why there is no tag team titles you are pretty much forced to run the same show over and over with like 6 to 8 wrestlers and third of that has to be women that cant interact with the men.
I don’t know why they didn’t use 2006 Gm mode as a basis and then just add things to that. They need an update already, you should be able to book 5 matches, have a mid card title and tag titles.

I'm sure it would've been limited either way. 2K is just lazy. How does a 15 year old game like SVR 2006 have a more fleshed out roster than a game that powerful and more advance? I'm not accepting excuses.

So the only thing i didnt like was the lack of champions when you start the show. Hopefully as the show grows we can have a tag division and minor champs available or im heading back to universe.

Think I'll skip this year. Once all match types and titles are included in GM Mode I'll reconsider. Once they add full customization to your brand and titles I'll be ALL IN.

Question. I noticed everyone ends up with pretty *tiny* rosters. Isn't really there a workaround for this? Like, can you change the (equal) amount of initial money the two main rosters have, for example? Because seeing how there are so many options, but you are forced to pick very little... kinda makes me feel like the whole GM mode is quite a missed opportunity.
Having three matches on normal shows makes no sense and have mid card titles. I was so excited for this mode from svr and I feel like if I want that experience I will just have to turn on the old games because I don’t think they will ever make it like the past games

WWE 2k22 gm mode sucks bad. I booked The Undertaker vs Batista (Hell in a Cell) match for the WWE World heavyweight championship. This thing lost against Theory vs some random guy in a normal one on one match. {In ratings!} WTF 🤬 Totally impractical.

Drew and Brock are a bad pairing. Face/Face and Bruiser/Bruiser? The game's pretty explicit about what makes a good pairing, and in this case it would have been Face/Heel and Bruiser/Fighter.

This MyGM Mode is ridiculous. You can only do single matches or tag team matches. There is no midcard title and which matches get how many stars is ridiculous. I don't even want to get started on the universe mode.
I'm having some trouble with GM mode. I'm trying to decide who's going to get the women's championship title and I'd like to have some assistance with this.
Yeah, you'll generally get better ratings if you do Face vs Heel rather than Face vs Face or Heel vs Heel, and you will even be given hints about that through "fan" comments like "I didn't even know who to Boo." or "I didn't know who I was supposed to Cheer for." You also want to make sure the wrestlers classes make for a good "match" (Cruiser vs Giant for instance). And then occasionally toss in a special match type & title shots here or there (though PPVs are the best places for special match types & title matches). You also want your two best matches to be your show Opener & your Main Event, that will also benefit you in the long run, if your mid-card matches end up outperforming your Opener and/or Main Event, you are likely to upset some of your fans due to "poor pacing" for the show.
no, brock and drew, is not a good matchup. they are both faces. you have to pay attention to how the game dictates what is a good matchup, not what we think is a good match up
This GM Mode is lacking so much. I think the Universe Mode is still a way better GM Mode. Get all the features of Universe in this and overhaul the Match-rating-system (because thats also bad) and then this mode will be nuts.
My GM and GM Mode are fundamentally different in how they work. GM Mode from SvR is all about the balance of big matches and the health of your roster. MyGM is a lot more on finding different combinations that connect while maintaining your resources (mostly money).

@@iamainnocentkid you’ve just repeated the same issue 3x which is the fact that the shows are small, but they’ve included some things that we didn’t have before like powerups, more of a strategy pertaining to how you can actually win the mode instead of just throwing things at the wall and seeing what sticks, GMs actually making moral decisions based on who they like and dislike. I think the changes are a fair trade. Future MyGMs will be longer and broader, but every single new mode in 2K22 puts the women on an equal level as the men, so I can see why they’d put one male champ and one female champ instead of regulating the women’s belt as a secondary title. There’s no doubt that they wanted the rosters to be equal men and women in both MyGM and MyRise, and MyFaction has a male team and female team as well.
I would rather have missing things than the new ones they have added since the missing things are absolute basic things and there is no depth without them in the mode

Having a decent little roster with a male group and female group, diff fighting styles, etc, booking a weekly show, keeping all the wrestlers happy, doing the production stuff, and interfering in certain matches is already a lot to do. if anyone is wondering how Brenden is playing the game a day before release well that's because there is a method on playstation, and xbox devices to play the game early. same with pc. on playstation, and xbox systems you can change your time zone to new zealand a day before your edition releases then you can download and play. if your a pc user you need a vpn.
TEW 2020 with mods on PC is the real GM mode you want. Incredibly in depth and you can decide the outcomes or leave to your road managers. Its not just limited to WWE either, with AEW, NJPW, ROH, Impact etc. Course there's no matches to watch but you get ratings based on each segment of your show adding up to a final score. Its like comparing Football Manager and FIFA manager mode.
I grew up playing SVR 06 - 08 GM mode for hunderds of hours. I'd never thought I'd see the day where Cena and HHH listed as legends.

MyGM is basic but fun. My main issue is that it is way too easy. I beat Hard mode by 250k fans with ZERO injuries.

Having a decent little roster with a male group and female group, diff fighting styles, etc, booking a weekly show, keeping all the wrestlers happy, doing the production stuff, and interfering in certain matches is already a lot to do. It’s not like the mode is gonna take 5 minutes to play
if anyone is wondering how Brenden is playing the game a day before release well that's because there is a method on playstation, and xbox devices to play the game early. same with pc. on playstation, and xbox systems you can change your time zone to new zealand a day before your edition releases then you can download and play. if your a pc user you need a vpn.
I put superstars on active local and still I didn’t get any stars to draft cept for certain superstars lol

TEW 2020 with mods on PC is the real GM mode you want. Incredibly in depth and you can decide the outcomes or leave to your road managers. Its not just limited to WWE either, with AEW, NJPW, ROH, Impact etc. Course there's no matches to watch but you get ratings based on each segment of your show adding up to a final score. Its like comparing Football Manager and FIFA manager mode.

They had to rebuild it from scratch.
