That's the goal man! To make videos that aren't longer than they have to be :) glad You enjoyed! Is there anything you can think of that you'd like to learn how to do?
Crazy to think you're are 104k subs and in this video you were mindblown about having 1,000. That's a come up. Great stuff. These videos are better than other videos released in the last few months from others.
Did something change in Davinci Resolve Studio 18? or will this not work with Studio 18? Because what you explain is totally clear and I get it. It just does not work.
@@inuraedirisinghe9559 Wow. That's a huge number of subs to lose. I am not sure if I looked at the video views count and saw 127k or the subs at that time. May be I was mistaken, Billy would know what the truth is.
Told Chatgpt to make a summary of this video, this is what it made: The video on "Davinci Resolve Transitions" discusses how to make smooth transitions in Davinci Resolve. The speaker provides three tips to make transitions look better: using curves in the spline tab, adding motion blur, and using a dissolve. The video walks through the process of making a whip transition, which involves flipping clips and using a transform node with keyframes to move clips into and out of the frame. The speaker then shows how to adjust the curves in the spline tab to make the transition smoother. Finally, the video demonstrates how to add motion blur to the transition to make it look even better.
I'm not able to add transitions (example a cross dissolve) to mp4 video files even though there is plenty of overlap space. I can add transition effects to jpeg images but not mp4 videos. Any help on this?
Thanks man, i just want to wipe up with feather where the clips cut. How can i do that in davinci? ☹️ i saw daniel schiffer applying this effect in one of his broll editing video.

Good video but you should've go into a little more detail when you were doing the part with the spline tab.... like explain why you were dragging each handle to a certain point and go into a little more of the spline tab details about the X and Ys for length and time at least you did mention your goal about what you were planning to do with the spline 3:33
Hey man! So what you do is go into the fusion tab. In the node section you right click and scroll down to options. All the way at the bottom you'll see Orthogonal Pipes. click on that and there will be right angles for lines :) Another thing i do is go to arrange and click "to grid" that helps a lot with organization. Im going to make a tips video on fusion soon :)
Thanks man! So the Transition is done the exact same way, but instead of going right to left, you'll go up and down or down to up. Same idea just different directions :) Everything is the same :)

You are making things complicated. You can easily use an existing transition that you can purchase online. Time is precious, no need to reinvent the wheel.
It's not to hard. You can also save the transition as a preset so you can drag and drop in the future. The built in transition isn't really that great. You'd still have to do some editing on it.
Haha I get that. Well if you ever need to learn how to make smooth transitions you know where to come back to Ted :) I really appreciate your support man! It was also great talking to you the other day!

You are not going to learn anything by buying presets. If you want progress as an editor, you need to learn how to do things by yourself
