It was one of the best dramas that I've watched. The cast, the story and the OSTs all of them are amazing. I am so happy to watch this masterpiece. Ren Jia Lun and Tan Song Yun are amazing as always. I cannot wait to see their new drama together as leads. Their chemistry is perfect.

I thought Love Like the Galaxy was a masterpiece, but this drama was equally beautiful, REN kisses with his eyes, Tan so cute. Didn’t think I’d be able to watch 55 episodes but ended up wanting more.
i agreed to previous comments that this drama observed the old Chinese customs of men and women not kissing and displaced too much affections in public. We, viewers, do not need gimmicks to love a good story and good acting. The two main characters were superb actress and actor, so natural and poised.
These two lead actors are so talented .Even their ways of holding hands convey so much feelings. They gave us a pure ,beautiful and incredibly moving love story . The chemistry between them is the best For sure I'll watch this again and again. Thanks to all the artists involved in this production!

This was awesome, but totally needs a season 2. We need to see a wedding, get her family name cleared with the next emperor, and a baby, plus more crime fighting with both of them! Plus I want to see the docs get married and the other guy who joined the army find his love. The brother’s restaurant could be a big part being a gathering place for the crime fighters. And it would be nice if their master got a higher position too. So much potential material for a season 2.

That was sweet to watch. As for season 2 it all depends on people reaction to the series and the total viewers of the program. Unfortunately in three years the series only have 490,078 views world wide and that is very low and do not meet the criteria for season 2. But it also depends on the actors willingness to do e second series, and by the look of it they are not interested.

I didn't think the main male was handsome until the humbling jail scene at the end.....I mean....How could she not just yank him to the bars for a kiss?
@@LibertyLeslie He is not handsome with classic Chinese male facial features like Yang Yang, but he has great bearing (especially when he wore his elegant Imperial Guard uniform and light-colored silk robes often worn by Confucian scholars) and he is just right for this role of a taciturn and a seemingly unemotional man with a constant frown between his brows. We only get to see him smile and his features soften only much, much later in the series after he allowed himself to give in to his love for Yun Xia.
Last episode not worth watching just to see 3 minutes of their happiness. This is a lousy ending. I've seen to many dramas with lousy endings. What a disappointment.
Seven Tan, in my opinion only, she’s now one of the premier lead actress. Love the great pairing chemistry with Ren Jialun. Another awesome Cdrama series and excellent engsub through the series (it makes more enjoyable to watch as an international fan & viewer). Thank you for sharing this amazing ensembles of handsome talented versatile actors/artist.
This is my first drama seeing both main leads, and they have great acting skills! Her range of emotions and making it all look so effortless and genuine is a rare sight to be seen in a young actress. I hope they have a drama together in the future, the chemistry works well.

What I've realized so far after watching almost all of his dramas that Ren can make great chemistry with anybody just by using his eyes. He can deliver his dialogue just by showing his eye expression that's enough to touch our heart. Second He's a master & this drama is beautiful & heart touching with full of emotions❤ Third, I've fallen for him after watching The Blue Whisper(Just loved him ♾️times there) then One & Only(He's marvelous there) and then this one-Under the power. My top three favourites of him as of now. But how I wish they'll end up the drama by showing us their wedding with their kids😀🥰😌

Completed at 10.55 pm on 5 February 2023. One of the BEST Dramas I've ever watched! The last episode was so touching and really moved me to tears. Jin Xia waiting for Lu Yi outside the prison, and making the cake for him, with that sweet note that she'll waiting for him. Her joy at finally seeing him again! Imagine how she'll go to the prison every single day! I kept thinking how Lu Yi always waited for her outside her house every night too. Really wonder what the guards would feel each time they see her. They must have felt joy for her too when Lu Yi was released from prison! The Emperor is such a foolish man. He lost a capable and trustworthy man when Xiao Lan died. Lu Yi has served him so faithfully and yet, this emperor can just throw him into jail just like that!
I have watched this drama completely more than 7 times and still want to watch again. Allen and Seven are such great actors and have so much chemistry between them.
This is my 2nd time watching this drama. I would have liked them both to walk into the new restaurant where thier family and friends were after he got out of prison. Then have a wedding scene to end this drama. But I am glad for a happy ending. Thank you for the English subs. Good drama. Love the ending. Sometimes ending in Chinese drama or love story leave much to be desired. They do not give completion or clear finality to the plot and characters. You want to make the audience think, but you do not want to leave them wondering. This has one of the best ending I have experienced. Great job by director and producer.

一部没有太多亲亲我我，却让人感到甜蜜的剧，陆绎今夏间的爱情有迹可循，从一开始的互相嫌弃，到一起经历过磨难与生死，再到互相表明心意，一点都不突兀，是用时间积累起来的爱。
看到最后还是最喜欢刚开始在京城的时候，还有海上以及扬州前半段，特爱看主角日常斗嘴，斗智斗勇的戏码，今夏率真可爱活泼，陆绎霸气威严但嘴毒（人念旧，哪怕结局很幸福，看不得改变）
一刷的时候没有坚持看完，这部剧就一直留在我的心中，这次终于看完了以为可以放下了，没想到完了我还想打开第一集再重看一次，各个演员的戏里有很多细节值得细品，很少让人出戏，是一部百看不厌的剧！

2021打卡﹗趕在除夕前看完《錦衣之下》，雖說結局讓人有點感慨﹐但今夏終究等到她的陸大人了。這劇好看﹐不只是因為繹夏的愛情﹐還因為觀眾能從中看到家國情懷﹐官場的黑暗無奈。我相信陸大人的故事﹐在古代是真實存在的﹐哪怕是忠臣良將﹐他們的生死﹐全憑皇上的一句說了算。只是陸大人比較幸運﹐有了今夏的堅持﹐才有了後來的特赦。獄中的那段特別感人﹐那時的陸大人估計也沒有生存欲望了﹐而今夏卻說一點也不恨他﹐還問大人不是說過要娶她嗎？兩人終於把話說開﹐心中的那道坎﹐過了。不得不說這兩人的愛情﹐比其他又親又抱的古裝CP更來得細膩真實﹐細水長流的愛情﹐就應該像他們這種。而且陸大人本就是一個內斂的人﹐唯一的屋頂之吻也是趁今夏醉了才親的﹐動輒又親又抱根本不符合他的人物個性。兩人的情來得自然又有說服力﹐就算是日常對話也已經感受到滿滿的愛意了。這劇真的值得再三回味﹐也幸好我沒有錯過這部劇﹐還因為這部劇認識了任嘉倫和譚松韻兩位好演員。

第1次看任嘉倫的片，讓我相當驚豔於他的演技跟外形，多麼亮眼的一個年輕演員。
很多帥氣的男星都帶點娘氣，他帥的不帶娘氣也不粗曠，恰到好處。
他的眼神跟微微牽動的嘴角，就把角色發揮的淋漓盡致，一個很好的演員。女主角也把角色演得活潑可愛到位。
韓棟本來就是個好演員。
也沒忘記給服裝設計師一個大大的贊，因為這些服裝，讓陸大人帥到驚人，也讓整片更賞心悅目。
重看一次應該能看到第1次沒看到的細節。

這編劇也少不了給戲裡添加搞笑的部分, 交代容易明了, 所以追55集都不會悶 ☺ 劇本也很棒! 好多聽了想再聽或會記起的台詞。演員演技更是到位, 尤其松韻和國超。想必今夏的角色 沒多少位女演員可以駕馭得那麼自然好吧! 導演這男女主角選得真棒! 服裝很美, 是我看過最好看的錦衣衛服和帽。主題曲有時也很催泪 😄🤩👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💯💯💯

What I've realized so far after watching almost all of his dramas that Ren can make great chemistry with anybody just by using his eyes. He can deliver his dialogue just by showing his eye expression that's enough to touch our heart. Second He's a master & this drama is beautiful & heart touching with full of emotions❤ Third, I've fallen for him after watching The Blue Whisper(Just loved him ♾️times there) then One & Only(He's marvelous there) and then this one-Under the power. My top three favourites of him as of now. But how I wish they'll end up the drama by showing us their wedding with their kids😀🥰😌

我倒認為陸繹並不是智商下線，而是責任感讓他飛蛾撲火，明知道皇上會生氣還去送死
不然他在皇上身邊做事這麼多年，怎麼會不知道皇上愛面子認不得錯？
他甚至刻意選在了眾多大臣聚集的宴會上翻案，而不是單獨面聖翻案，就是因為他很清楚他只有一次提出翻案的機會（因為皇上會大怒對他做出處置），所以更要再多人見證的場合講，讓大家知道當年夏然案的真相
還有就是，陸繹如果不這樣做，不只今夏心裡過不去那道坎，他自己心裏應該也有道坎過不去，無法真正跟今夏再一起

One of the BEST Dramas I've ever watched!
The last episode was so touching and really moved me to tears.
Jin Xia waiting for Lu Yi outside the prison, and making the cake for him, with that sweet note that she'll waiting for him.
Her joy at finally seeing him again! Imagine how she'll go to the prison every single day! I kept thinking how Lu Yi always waited for her outside her house every night too.
Really wonder what the guards would feel each time they see her. They must have felt joy for her too when Lu Yi was released from prison!
The Emperor is such a foolish man. He lost a capable and trustworthy man when Xiao Lan died. Lu Yi has served him so faithfully and yet, this emperor can just throw him into jail just like that!
So touching😢
I have watched this drama completely more than 7 times and still want to watch again. Allen and Seven are such great actors and have so much chemistry between them.

This is my 2nd time watching this drama. I would have liked them both to walk into the new restaurant where thier family and friends were after he got out of prison. Then have a wedding scene to end this drama. But I am glad for a happy ending. Thank you for the English subs. Good drama.

Tento seriál už pozerám asi 5 x a stále má čo ponúknuť. Milujem tohto herca. Všetky jeho postavy sú naplnené neskutočnou túžbou a skvelým herecký výkonom. Super seriál. Bolo v ňom všetko čo divák potrebuje, rýchly spád, zauzlenie, viera v spravodlivosť, oddanosť, ľudskosť, láska a hlavne dobrý koniec. Veľké ďakujem.

我個人不認為結局倉促，也不認為男主智商下綫，從女主的一句: 原來他一切都計劃好了就可以知道，他根本不想脫罪，而是擔起全部的罪責，所以才做出這種別人口中説的蠢事。而皇上也是自知時日不多了，心也變得柔軟了，所有的恨與怨都不重要了，倒不如放下全部，自在地離開，再加上之前與陸廷的情誼，陸繹為家國的付出，所以一道聖旨赦免天下，這個我覺得挺合情理的，但同時我也理解為什麼會給人一種倉促的感覺，因為這樣動人的感情綫，大家都渴望盪氣迴腸，讓人久久難以平靜的結局，這個結局是合情理，卻顯得平淡了，所以大家才會覺得倉促，因為到喉不到肺呀。

年龄的原因，从来不追剧。但这次不一样，不但从头到尾一集不差的看完，而且还要追番外篇、宠妻篇、心路篇；又不止是剧，还有演员，各种的经历、各种的采访、各种的活动......不一而足。我在想，有如此热情去追的，一定不是我一个人吧。能如此成功的抓住了两千万观众的心，原因大概也绝非演员帅气的外表吧（帅气的演员真的很多），这部剧的成功恐怕是在于陆大人含蓄、有担当的“情”，符合了我们传统文化两性情感的审美。而演员任嘉伦的出色表演，更是鲜活的把这种美诠释了出来，这样的作品实在是久违了。
知道嘉伦不是科班出身，除了天分，也一定有许多艰难的付出，有今天的成绩实属不易。在当今的演艺界，好的剧本与优秀的演员在数量上完全不成正比，后面的路恐怕仍然难免艰辛。但愿嘉伦且走且珍惜，拼搏的时候也要保重。愿你知天命之年时的身影仍然活跃在屏幕上！也希望能看到耳顺时的你会是什么样子。

Love the ending. Sometimes ending in Chinese drama or love story leave much to be desired. They do not give completion or clear finality to the plot and characters. You want to make the audience think, but you do not want to leave them wondering. This has one of the best ending I have experienced. Great job by director and producer.
