Awesome! Glad it helped.
Pasiteboy, that was great. I have a screw on air chuck connector instead of the flip one and the screw thread gave out and needed replacement, otherwise the pump is completely in order. I guess, I will do it your way. Thanks.
You're welcome. Glad it helped.
Beautifully presented.....100% useful

Thanks for this video! And also, I love the drum set!
You're welcome. Glad you liked it!
Is the chuck you replaced still working? Some Amazon comments said the chuck does not clamp on the stem strong enough so the air leak out on the side. I need a chuck replacement for my Craftsman tire inflator. Thanks
I still use this compressor all the time and haven't had an issue with it since I replaced the chuck.
Thanks I have been looking for something like this for my compressor.
You're welcome. Glad it helped.
Exactly what I needed. Thanks!

so theoretically I should be able to repair the damaged head on my bike pump using the same technique?
If it's just the connection on the end of the hose, then yes.
I mean arent expectations for hose repair pretty standard ? dont you usually used some thing that has thread and incorperate clamping barbs is that the usual technique ? ps I guess if I just had an air tank and not an air compressor if for some reason I wanted to regulate the flow out I guess you would need an in hose pressure regulator guage does that sound right and I guess you would set it at the desire pressure and I guess if would only allow out up to a certain pressure? and I guess than if the pressure got to low you will fill it up with your air compressor does that sound right? in case I was unclear if I am so poor that I wanted to use a bike pump or air tank for my air toll tasks does the above sound right ? I mean if you dont want to high a pressure you would have to set the system at the higest pressure you want everything now has more zeros trying to get the best use out of things I guess if I have an air tank I can air it up with my bike pump but as I said if you wanted to control how much pressure was going out guess you would need a regular ps the other thing if I did not say it above is if I have a bike pump and I want to chop the tip to make it a unverial quick connect I guess you could attempt it using standard hose repair proecdures ? thoughts please thank you!
Sound like you're over complicating this. My video is just showing you how to repair the end on on pump. No high pressure gauges involved. Good luck in what you are trying to do.
thank you for the inspringwords the good news Is I was able to search for more youtube videos and I think I have a better I dea of what I want to achive thank you

Looks like the hose was already replaced before. where did you buy the hose from?
No. I never replaced the hose.
Hi, I have the Roofpax portable air compressor. While searching for these air chucks they list either 6mm or 8mm. Does anyone know what the Roofpax hose is? Thanks, Ronnie
