Well done man. I can't wait to start practicing. I have a feeling I'm going to drive my wife mad. I'm a little autistic so I tend to obsess over new things I'm trying out. When I learn a new technique for making something I tend to build 100s of them. Or if I'm learning something new I can't stop. It's going to drive my Mrs crazy lol. How long have you been playing?

Hahaha Yep, I’ve been obsessing too so yep, been driving her nuts. But she’s supportive!
I’ve been playing one for over 30 years, but wrong. Biting down instead of against the teeth. So I was already well versed in the mouth articulations, but once I learned how to hold one properly last spring, that’s where the strumming techniques and all the other stuff really started to click. I’ve played nearly every single day for the past year. Obsessed!

@@BoxcarBetts that's cool man. It's nice to have a wife that supports you even if it isn't her thing. Btw not sure if you were ever thinking of making and copper harps but you may want to reconsider if you are. I just remembered a thing called galvanic corrosion. When two dissimilar metals are in contact with each other it makes them corrode. In the case of a copper harp the steel reed touching the copper frame would cause corrosion. I really wanted a copper harp until I remembered that.
